This isn't very helpful is it? I thought peace was supposed to be breaking out (yes I do know you don't care what I think but I'm sharing it with you whether u give a toss or not).

Maybe I should rise above it, after all it was Jake who suggested I was too clever for certain posters who were trying to take me on, but why should I sit back and let people take sly digs at me?

People forget that for 8 of my 10 years on here I never really had a problem, it was only when Nobber decided to up his interest/obsession towards me that things took a turn for the worse.

We'll never get on, that much we both know, and whilst I believe Monday was a 'one off' as you're not usually one to give out such personal abuse (I actually thought you'd had a drink) I do think that if others had displayed that sort of behaviour they would have received an infraction.

Sometimes it's just better to rise above it. Spats are part of any online community but they don't have to turn into a road crash like this has been. For what it's worth, I hope that the fallout from this will be positive in the way in which the board is run and moderated and how all the members of the conduct themselves...

There's one of those fancy words applicable to all this....... "oxymoron "........... Every credit to the Mods that stuck to their guns ( Phil and Nobb ) and said what they believed in ( rightly or wrongly) rather than rising above it all and being something that they aren't !!


They did everything that a few are now trying to replace them with........... with the same attributes.. 🙂

Its a good point. WIBG said something I took exception to, I went off on one and told him so, he replied back to me, both had our say on the other thread. Done finished, were both big boys.

Then others got involved, some backing me, some backing wibg.

Since Monday neither of us have said a word to each other until today. For me its how it should be, its what adults do, they get angry, have their say and move on.
