Strange new users

Am I the only one seeing a few new users, with almost unpronounceable board names appearing on threads and spouting out complete and utter random shizzle that has nothing to do with the subject the thread is about?

One such has just appeared on jonny macken's "Three bands/Singers needed" thread talking about X-Boxes overheating😕

Is it some strange sort of hacking/spam?

They're spambots building a fake 'history' by chucking vaguely plausible posts out. If you see anything sus please use the 'report post' function and we'll kick 'em out.

I think 'Plactolla' may be one of said spam bots !! About 25 new threads added over night all about 'Music - buddist music, fake downloads etc etc.
