I don't comment on this forum anymore as I have secured a job with restrictive social media permissions but I am also in a position where I can post anonymously. I've been reading the forum and wanted to weigh in on tonight's speculation.
First of all, I sincerely hope that the club offer Alex Neil their full support come his sacking. I remain apprehensive that this may happen, but sincerely hope they do nonetheless. We are the gentry and should be offering full support to anyone feeling down, not least Alex Neil who has been at the forefront of abuse and criticism. I also hope that PNE-Online is able to use its platform to show support for Alex when the club statement is released. We have many good people here who are deeply caring towards others, and will all be able to play their part in thanking Alex for the work he has done, particularly in his first season.
The reaction on here, especially towards Worthington's repulsive comment earlier, has been very encouraging. Having browsed the General Forum, I am deeply encouraged by the reactions to non-PNE issues as well. As a forum, the way as a group you handle issues should be commended.
