I'd be sad to see him go, but...

Late last season I was of the opinion that we were stronger at the back with Youl in the team, so went through the exercise of looking at the results for a points gained per game with and without him. Gutted to find our average points return was actually worse when he played.

But he's still our most elegant defender of recent years, possibly even the best since Lawrenson. Good luck to him.
 
I'd be sad to see him go personally, but more from a sentimental point of view. Wednesday are rapidly becoming PNE reserves.
 
If this is true we are gonna need basically atleast 4 new defenders as with Chilvers gone and hart, nolan, trotman and that clown Collins all on the transfer list and expected to leave we are going to need to build a new defence

I thought wednesday had no transfer money to spend?

Also, how can they afford to match his salary with the financial situation they find themselves.

I tell you, AL has screwed us properly this time by taking our best players.

I would been have more happy either, nolan, elliot, carter, nicho, chaplow, hart or brown were going instead!!

Who's this? Hope Youl doesn't go but if he does he deserves everyone's respect think it's a shame the lad's got stick the last few seasons as Youl when fit was the best Championship defender I've seen. Anyway, will leave us short at the back and needing maybe to bring in 3 centre-backs.

Mawene is currently earning £0.00 a week,I'm sure Wednesday can afford to beat it!
 
I can't believe people want rid of Mawene, yet want Wayne Brown?

I'd give him a new deal straight away.
