Henderson on a leash?
WTF's all this about?

I would guess it is something that makes it harder to run to get the ball, strengthening work.
Maybe he caught rabies.

Think he's trying it out, as they've bought it for Wayne Brown when he's walking through Deepdale.

It's the Cumbrian training method. It stops the goalie coming out of the six-yard box, but if he manages that, the elastic makes him do a triple backwards somersault.
At least Lonners is in Spain and not somewhere else!!!
😀
😀
Maybe it's a bungee rope?
It is similar to a bungee rope. Seen them being used at springfields before think it was in simpsons time, it was palyers coming back from injury using them then. Also seen my nephew who is a keeper using them at his training sessions.

Jeff Benjamins world famous arc angle concept.
shaky

Jeff Benjamins world famous arc angle concept.
Pisaac now denies bringing that up, and reckons he never made that post about the Sheff United goal either.
What a wanker, thank god for post history. 😱

Point 1) I don't deny the arc angle concept - its valid and in everyday use by coaches. I don't know who Benjamin is, you raised his name, not me
Point 2) You lost the SU argument 13-0

S and M? Lonners doesn't look too pleased about it!
Maybe it was meant for Lonners, to stop him leaving?
Maybe its so he kmows where the post is?
I had one to keep me head down when playing golf. One end round yer neck the other end tied round yer knackers. Worked a treat
From a UK goalkeeping manual -
'Some goalkeeping coaches call this concept the "Arc Angle". It can easily be demonstrated on the soccer field with three ropes about 50 feet long, one attached to each post and one to a stake at the middle of the goal line. Place the ball at varying spots around the penalty area and have the keeper find their position, then place a cone there. When the exercise is finished, the cones will show that keeper's arc as in Figure 3. Adjust for chip shots and you'll end up with the keeper's arc as in Figure 4'.
You see Jaymo, I have been involved in coaching and I can tell you that you, Shaky and Danny have such an appalling lack of knowledge of goalkeeping techniques that you hide it by going on the attack with bile and venom, concealing your lack of knowledge. Never a constructive comment between you.
Off you go, I think your master is waiting to give you some Bono biscuits.

strangly though, despite all your coaching experience, you cant actually describe the events of a simple goal, with all the benefits of sky+ as well. From a UK goalkeeping manual -

Judging on his 45 minute appearance against Leicester in North Ends last home game of last season, when on several occasions he came racing of his line without a prayer, I would suggest that this elastic rope tied round his waist is a great idea. - One of Ferguson's better one's infact!
