Henderson on a leash?

Judging on his 45 minute appearance against Leicester in North Ends last home game of last season, when on several occasions he came racing of his line without a prayer, I would suggest that this elastic rope tied round his waist is a great idea. - One of Ferguson's better one's infact!

He didn't do too badly against Reading. At least 2 of the goals were suicidal defending leaving him no chance. He just looked like a goalkeeper starved of regular first team football.

Point 1) I don't deny the arc angle concept - its valid and in everyday use by coaches. I don't know who Benjamin is, you raised his name, not me

Point 2) You lost the SU argument 13-0

Google the Arc angle concept for goalkeepers, it's Jeff Benjamins baby, the world renowned Canadian school coach, it takes you straight there.

You brought it up trying to be clever, once again you proved yourself a stupid cunt.

I lost the Sheff Utd argument? You described the goal and it was total fiction, as proved by the TV replays you say you had seen several times, when this was proved you waited a year and then denied you'd written it, even ludicrously accusing me of making it up! Unfortunately for you, it was there in the archives and once again proved you a liar, and once again highlighted that you haven't a fucking clue what you are talking about, not that we need any more evidence of that! 😱

Your "Point 2" doesn't make any sense, everybody knows you made a total cunt of yourself with your hilarious analysis of the Sheff Utd goal.

As far as I could see, both at the game and seeing the replays on Sky, Lonergan dashed off his line and made a brave dive at the feet of a SU player and made a block. The ball deflected to Howard who scored before AL could get to his feet.

So someone tell Jaymo (ultra-critical always, not just on this occasion) that how on earth could AL have been quicker off his line than he was? He got a block in, for goodness' sake!

Not that we need it at all, more proof you haven't a fucking clue what you're babbling on about. He plays brilliantly and you still talk like a cunt. Lonergan was on his feet like a shot and positioned himself perfectly for any forthcoming shot from the Sheffield player, which in my opinion was all he could do under the circumstances. Unfortunately, he picked out Howard to his left and he hammered it into the net with Lonergan stranded.

That's how I saw it, I've only seen one replay.

Proof, if proof were ever needed, that you really have no idea what you are talking about on any aspect of football.

Lonergan dashed out and made a 'smothering save', well to his left but it was impossible to catch the ball in the ruck. The ball deflected to Howard so quickly that he had the ball in the net just as Lonergan got to his feet, about three/four yards away.

'Perfectly positioned'? Now we know why you are hopeless!

Ballsaac, you have proved beyond doubt you haven't a clue many times. Lonergan got to his feet immediately after performing a smart save and positioned himself to cover any forthcoming shot, the player crossed it to Howard, only then was Lonergan stranded. If I am wrong I've got being pissed as an excuse, not being stupid which is the case for you.

I'm prepared to stand corrected, but not by somebody who has consistently week in and week out shown a staggering ignorance of goalkeeping.

Even on a thread praising Lonergan you come on making a cunt of yourself.

Highlights thread is here.

On what I said earlier. For the goal he starts to come straight away then stops because their attacker changes direction and wrong foots him, then hes out again. At the time it looked to me as though he just dawdled for a second or 2.

For the rest of it. The ball isnt deflected to Howard, its crossed in, and Lonergans well on his feet and looks like he covering a shot or any cross to the deep cross to the back post. Unfortunately, no one covered Howard.

drunken shaky 1 - 0 idiot child

Its just like when he pretended Birmingham didnt look dangerous with crosses because he'd seen the replays. Absolute spaz.

the first save from ward is quality, Ward did excellently to turn and give himself a chance. If hed scored no one could have blamed Lonners, but he gave himself every chance by getting out early and making himself big. Excellent. Same goes for the late 1 on 1 against beattie. Calm composed and excellent decision making. He also helped cut out the option of Beattie squaring it.

The howard save goes without saying, but thats the kind of stuff hes always been good at.

Without doubt, especially after seeing highlights, the best game hes ever had for us. Literally didnt put a foot wrong.

You proved once and for all you are fucking clueless, and don't get me started on Lonergans performance against Burnley, when you were adamant he never put a foot wrong, even though he totally misjudged a cross by rushing out and misjudging it so badly it went at least ten feet over his head, then running around his area like Benny Hill until Paterson inexplicably put the ball over the bar from a yard out with Lonergan stranded. There were many crosses he should have either claimed or come for that day, he was fucking hopeless, but you saw not one single error, that's because you are simply clueless, as you prove time and again. Others tried to tell you the facts, but again you wouldn't listen, instead insisting that I "made it up!" 🙄

You my lad are the biggest imbecile on this forum, and that takes some doing! 😱

From a UK goalkeeping manual -

'Some goalkeeping coaches call this concept the "Arc Angle". It can easily be demonstrated on the soccer field with three ropes about 50 feet long, one attached to each post and one to a stake at the middle of the goal line. Place the ball at varying spots around the penalty area and have the keeper find their position, then place a cone there. When the exercise is finished, the cones will show that keeper's arc as in Figure 3. Adjust for chip shots and you'll end up with the keeper's arc as in Figure 4'.

You see Jaymo, I have been involved in coaching and I can tell you that you, Shaky and Danny have such an appalling lack of knowledge of goalkeeping techniques that you hide it by going on the attack with bile and venom, concealing your lack of knowledge. Never a constructive comment between you.

Off you go, I think your master is waiting to give you some Bono biscuits.

Which manual?

You can find it in this one...

I can understand you having to refer to Jeffs book though, because it's patently obvious you haven't a fucking clue!
