Is a striker really our main priority?
I'd rather a left-back and another central midfielder.
I agree about a left back but a centre midfielder?!! We have about 7!

But none really provided enough creative threat going forward, I'd like to see someone in there who can spot a pass, the rest are very work man like.

I don't think anyone should celebrate a goal vs Panama, Barbados, Guatemala or Trinidad and Tobago. 12 goals for USA and 3 of those were against Panama - there all canal boat owners over there, says it all.
I've changed my mind he's just another Leon Clarke.

We have got Cort, Ellington, Clarke and Liganzi on loan which leaves us with just one loan spot to fill and I would think a left back is the main priority.
I think Amine Linganzi(sp?) is on a youth loan? Therefore he is not registered in the smae way. Likewise we can have as many loan players as we like, we can only name 5 in the squad. Therefore one would miss out. If we have 3 strikers on loan I would imagine it would be one of those.
Anyway if Josh Morris loan is to happen he may also be a 'youth loan'

We can have more than 5 loans but can only play 5 in a match. Linganzi is at lease 4 weeks away.

AMSTERDAM - Fulham forward Eddie Johnson's agent has confirmed to MLSsoccer.com that his client will spend the final six months of his contract on loan at Championship survivalists Preston North End.
The 26-year old US international looked to be slipping down the Cottage depth chart with Moussa Dembélé, Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora all gradually returning to fitness and has found a temporary home with the Lilywhites in order to gain playing time.
Preston currently sit bottom in the Championship and six points shy of the safe 21st place slot with 20 games left in the season. Erstwhile Hull City manager Phil Brown's side have scored a lowly 29 goal thus far, led by Jon Parkin's seven and Canada international Iain Hume's five.
This season with Fulham, Johnson appeared in 12 contests across all competitions without scoring. He has yet to open his competitive Cottagers account in 20 matches since arriving from the Kansas City Wizards in 2007.
The Florida native started his career with FC Dallas, and has had previous loan stints at Aris FC in Greece and Cardiff City.

YES YES YES you can't win games if you can't score goals!!!!! Like the sound of this guy would be good with Hume and Ellington...things are looking up if we can get this lad.....
Looking more and more like a done deal to be honest. Good Good.
