That's what PNE have become. The moment I heard Nicholson and Ashbee in midfield I knew it was a nailed on defeat. You all had the "experience" you craved in midfield and what a complete fcuk up it was. As for Clarke up front? It's not even necessary to comment. Argument well and truly fcuking well won!!

Yet more crap 3-5-2 from a poser of a clueless manager.

I would have accepted all three bids for Jones, St.Ledger and Lonergan and started the re-building for next season's inevitable 1st division campaign right NOW. Instead Brown has already screwed it up BIG TIME and because he is totally devoid of any strategic thinking he has just consigned PNE to at least a decade in the abyss.

It's nailed on relegation now even for you blind faith super optimists. It could have been so different.

It could but we are in the tail end of meltdown, brown is purely one of the last nails in our chamionship coffin.

I am very sad and have now lost hope of any chance of staying in the championship.

Two things must change IMO or div 2 beckons, ones called Trevor and ones called Maurice and both care more about many other things than PNE

The slight stain you see on this post is the tear I shed for mine and your club

Plus lonergan did well tonight, maybe he let in a goal that took a major deflection but he produced some spectacular saves.

Besides which my contempt for Nicholson and Ashbee has already been noted on here many times. The pair of them are neither use nor ornament.

I don't know who or what you think can be done to try and get us out of the relegation zone. We have no money and we are bottom of the league. Trevor Hemmings has thrown in the towel leaving us with out of work managers to choose from and shit, fringe players.

All these young players you put forward that you want us to sign are way out of our league, we aren't an attractive proposition, nor can we afford them. As for playing the youth team which seems to be another of your suggestions, this isn't the answer (although the shining lights tonight were Lonergan and McLaughlin, but I guess nobody can be as bad as Ellington and Clarke).

Some people are losing their heads and getting stupidly carried away. At the end of the day it is a game of football, if we stay up, we stay up, if not then its tough. I think we are as good as down, I was excited about tonight, I thought tonight would bring us back within touching distance, all it has done is knock us back again.

People will choose who they want to blame, there are many people who are to blame but you have to look ultimately to the top and that is Hemmings. When we were struggling last time he made funds available to Irvine and he brought in players that kept us up, this time round he's thrown the towel in, couldn't give a shit. We have gone for shit players and will ultimately pay the price.
