Yeah i wouldnt say im lonners biggest fan but he stopped us being on the end of a tonking tonight. Lets hope it improves on saturday but im beginning to fear the worst! Wasnt impressed with either ashbee or clarke tonight although it is early days. Ashbee was just like a fat john parkin in midfield!! Very disappointed!
Just got back.

More than a couple cock. Get it right.
But it's nice for you to give the guy a bit of credit for once though!
I say it how it is pal.
This is what infuriates me about him, he has a very good game then ruins it with a poor kick. We were all over them at this point and it just killed the game off.

To be fair, I thought the throw in from the right should never have gone back to him in the first place, it was an awful throw and put him under pressure for the kick.
He made 4 or 5 'top drawer' saves tonight and was no doubt our man of the match AGAIN. It's no wonder other clubs are wanting his services.

He'd done well with his kicking all night then he fucks up. It's always there mate, you know it is.
Top line summary from me.
Great support.
First deflection and spun over Lonners head (he had already commited himself , not quite England v Germany Italia 80 but you get the drift.
PNE couldnt put three passes togther without losing it especially first half.
PNE gave the ball away far too frequently.
Ellington did ok bit more fitness and he will cause problems.
New lad from Hull looked well off the pace and agin was a culprit in losing the ball far too easily.
Barton a total shocker Full stop.posseion.
Treacy great free kick great save near the end.
New lad from QPR 4/10 lacked composure and a degree of fitness.
SSL not a great game made a few rash clearances that nearly fell to opposition.
Hulme bust but no real end product or service to him.
Midfield in general create nothing and run round like headless chickens whilst Barnsley pass it round them.
Lose Sat and we are down and on that showing tonight I cant really see us staying up.
O the ref had a shocker and gave North End nothing.
Keep the faith (if you can)
😕

Add to that, that man of the match Lonergan made 4 or 5 fantastic saves to keep the scoreline respectable, and you've given a pretty decent summary!
Not see how he passed the ball straight to a Barnsley player for the second goal?

One club, and they're welcome to him, shame they're realistic about his value or he'd have gone already.
I thought it might have been somebody elses fault according to the morons, but we've seen him do this same trick many times.
Notice how so many of these "super saves" are double saves?

Aye, devastated that another transfer window has come and gone and the deluded fucker still hasn't been snapped up by a big club!

It was classic Lonergan last night. All traits, good and bad, were in evidence.
Spilling of simple save immediately followed by miraculous point blank stop - check.
Awesome reactions - check.
Failure to come and collect ball from top of own defenders head inside 6 yard box - check.
Dodgy kicking - check.
He's got the unteachable stuff right but has shown no aptitude to grow and develop as a keeper - so fuckin frustrating.

Shaky your a fuckin wanker all you do is slag lonners off it's like you have it in for him i bet you wouldn't dare tell him want you think to his face . Wanker
As I've said dozens of times, it is no coincidence that all these Lonergan worshippers are as thick as fuck, as the above poster proves!

Spot on. Lonergan's displays are papering over huge cracks in the back four, mainly in Jones and St. Ledger who, good players as they are, are not good enough for this level of professional football. So naive they are virtually in nappies despite their "experience" to date.
Lonergan's devastation shows that he knows exactly where this team will finish. And that is at the bottom of the Championship. Accept it, move on, start planning some cheaper and exotic away trips to towns and boroughs. Far more fun anyway.
Is there a consensus that we play Eddie Johnson from the start with ellington and hume on sat, and play Coutts, ashbee and mayor/treacy?

Apart from a couple of crosses I felt Lonners could of come for I felt he had a very very good game.
But............ Why does he put all the hard work and great saves to waste by gifting them he ball when we was in an advanced position up the pitch awaiting a big hoof from him. If he didnt make the huge fuck up at the end he would of been my MOM but the mistake was so big it cant be ignored no matter how many decent or great saves he made during the game.
It was like 11 slugs crawling over a muddy allotment, with a giant sized Maurice Lyndsay and Trevor Hemmings dropping slug pellets at regular intervals, sporting malicious grins. If you can can imagine all that drawn by Gerald Scarfe. It started raining at the end, also. If you can substitute rain drops for maggots, that was what happened.
Yes Lonergan is poor, yes in my opinion he needs replacing, yes he has cost us many a time before, but he wasn't too blame for last nights defeat.
The lack of shape, poor organistation, awful decision making and having a lump up front like Clarke were all greater factors in our defeat than a poor kick from Lonergan.

HE was to blame, Ill admit he was helpless witht he first goal that took a savage deflection.
But when we was all over them and there was only ever going to be one team scoring a goal(US) he gifted them the ball and they raced clear and scored.
IT WAS HIS FAULT NO MATER HOW YOU DRESS IT UP.
He drilled it straight at there player ffs.
