Shut the fuck up calling me a cunt you must not see many games because he easily saves us more points than he costs us . Your the fuckin cunt
I'll say it yet again, although it's blatantly obvious.
It's no coincidence that these Lonergan hero worshippers are all as thick as fuck, without exception.

Oh fuck me. Are you really being serious or is your spat with Shaky clouding your judgement. He is aliability, He has cost us more than he has saved.
Halfof these wonder saves are through fault of his own after making a fuck up. The majority of the rest are bread and butter saves for any other keeper,Is just that we never get to see average standard or above goalkeeping so any save looks good to us.
You point out games where he has saved us and ill point out more where he has cost us.

Good keepers gain you 10 points a season, Andy Lonergan does not gain us 10 points a season.
He had a very good game on Tuesday night with his shot-stopping, his only poor kick let them in for the second (we had gone for it at this point and had 4 up front) but he was unlucky with the first.
When you're not getting the rub of the green and you're at the bottom of the league these things happen. But we didnt deserve anything on Tuesday because we were piss poor all over the park.
Massive improvement needed for a massive game on Saturday. The faith is still there, because there is so much shit in this league this season, and sadly, we're one of them.

HE was to blame, Ill admit he was helpless witht he first goal that took a savage deflection.
But when we was all over them and there was only ever going to be one team scoring a goal(US) he gifted them the ball and they raced clear and scored.
IT WAS HIS FAULT NO MATER HOW YOU DRESS IT UP.
He drilled it straight at there player ffs.
Are you saying it was his fault for the second goal, or his fault we lost?
They scored in the 93rd minute - we had hardly managed a shot on target in that time, so what makes you think we would have nicked one in the further two minutes of injury time that were left?
He may have been at fault for the goal, I can't remember if I am honest, but we didn't lose the game because of Lonergan, we lost the game for a lack of shape, a lack of a cutting edge, and some fucking awful decision making. If you can't see that then you are a bigger pillock than I first thought.

Just after the goal, there was a cross pinged in from their right wing which was in the air inside our 6-yard box and Morgan had to come back to head it clear. It was Lonergan's to deal with all day long, but he never moved.
He's a good keeper in one-on-one situations from close range, but hit a ball from outside the box and he's fucked, whether it be a long-range shot or a cross in the air.
I have come to the conclusion that he cannot see further than 12 yards...

To say lonners had a mare is hard going.
He made one mistake and it was f*ckin huge.
.......
To call it an F'ing huge mistake.... gifting a goal.... You make it sound like he was dawdling on the ball then kicked straight to an unmarked man, 30 yards from goal. Have you even seen the goal?
He was put under pressure, but cleared the ball to near the half-way line, clearing the ball beyond 2 or 3 defenders and within a yard of (Barton?) In fact it was a 50-50 ball in midfield between Barton? and their lad.... it's just that their lad read it faster, or wanted it more... and went on to speed past 2 defenders that were struggling to cover (I'm putting no blame on them). It wasn't a great clearance... but to call it a gift and an F'ing huge mistake just exposes you for what you are.

A clueless idiot, hooked on his medication!
I've said it before, the ball should never have been thrown back to him in the first place, it was an awful throw and put him under enormous pressure with the Barnsley player chasing it down. It was a poor kick, but like you say it did get upto the halfway line, with Barton as slow as an 80 year old Granny in reacting, followed by St. Ledgers attempt at a tackle or lack of one.
Even the 2 minutes of highlights show Lonergan to be the M.O.M. If it wasn't for his great saves in the first half we would have been dead and buried by half time, followed by his great saves in the second half, saved it from being embarrassing!

I dont give a toss about my Grammer. The fact remains it was all PNE and there was only one team looking like grabbing a goal, It was us, HE gifted them a goal and knocked any chance of a point out of the window. If you cant see that I suggest you take your head out of Lonners arse and have a look at what goes on.
All media sources are even saying it was Lonners scuffed kick that lead to us conceding a 2nd goal.
In case you've ignored this point, we didnt score a goal! In 90 minutes!
We lost 2-NIL.
So statistically the conceding of a 2nd didnt cost us anything.

That's ok then, he was to blame for the second goal, wasn't coming for crosses as usual and we got beat 2-0, but at least he can still perform acrobatics.
I'm off to look at the highlights to see if I've missed something.

Watching those highlights, I'm not sure what all the fuss is about with Lonergan's performance. None of those stops were outstanding IMHO, one or two were sheer luck (welcome tho it was) and he cocked up for the second goal.
I fear for us next season if he's going to be as unchallenged as this. 🙁

He'll probably put in a transfer request because the deluded fucker thinks he should be playing at the top level, only problem being no fucker will come in for him.
He'll be justv as far out of his depth in league one, or league two for that matter.

Is there any one who sits behind Lonners at home games? Just wondering if you can hear him shouting or not. Lonners made some decent saves (some with luck yeah) on Tuesday and I don't think the second goal was his fault. Granted it wasn't a great kick, but Barton put no in effort to get the ball. By the sounds of it we deserved to get beat, one or two or three nil.
We all know this:
Lonners -
Pros:
Close range shots / reflex saves / One on Ones
Cons:
Crosses / Command of Area / Distribution (although i thought his gks were really good a few years back)

I'd agree with the pros, but you missed out long range shots and showboating from the cons, and not being able to hold the ball.

What is sad about being realistic? Would you like me to be as pathetic as you fuckers and pretend he's class?

Not pretending he's Gordon Banks. Just being realistic.
Just imagine it was you in goal. You've had a good game. Kept the team in with a shout right up to the 93rd minute. Lots of good saves.
Your full back makes a throw-in that puts you under pressure. You slightly mishit the clearance but it's half decent, reaches near half-way line, in and around your team mates in the middle of the park.
But one of their guys nips in and runs 50 yards past 3 of your team mates.
You might not be 100% happy with the clearance you made, but you'd be pretty pissed off if the whole world blamed you for the defeat.
Go on... take a moment to imagine that exact scenario.. you in goal. You taking the flack. Then think if you're being fair-minded.
