Davis preferred candidate and Proctor to return (LEP)

Davis preferred candidate and Proctor to return (LEP)

There is no doubt that Davies is the man for the job, he himself has stated he has "unfinished business" here, however, if he doesn't want the job, then Unsworth with Alexander assistant for me, they seem to have immense passion and both care deeply about PNE and want us to do well.

That's not enough I'm afraid.

Five out of five what then if not seasons?

You really are stupid.

5 out of 5 go's ?

You really should quantify your statements a bit more, but then again I suppose it gives you more opportunity to quarrel.

Hold your hands up and admit you were incorrect !

But I am not incorrect am I? In five seasons he got to five play offs. Only you want to throw in the part season where he saved Forest from relegation.

Five out of five "goes"? What the fuck are you talking about?

I don't think unsworth/alexander are any different to Big Sam, Moyes and Davies. All unproven but already at the club as qualified coaches, i think they deserve a chance.

Yes, lets tell Davies, a proven success at Championship level to fuck off and give the job to an unknown quantity, just because we like the former player holding the fort.

I despair.

The 5 full seasons bd managed in the championship he got to the play offs.

He had half a season with notts forest and saved em from relegation.

Now they've sacked him and they are in the shit.

You'll have that fucktard telling you you're wrong. I think he's a little confused, or maybe just thick.

Yes you are incorrect, you paint it as if everytime he has been in management he has at least achieved a play off position, which is not quite true is it ? Therefore 5 out of 5 'goes' or attempts isn't a true picture is it ?

You also seem to forget his record at Motherwell, granted he saved them from possible relegation in his first year, in his 2nd he nearly got them into Europe, yet his 3rd year once again his overspending put the club in a dire financial position.

Motherwell

Davies went on to player-coach and then manage Motherwell, helping them first avoid relegation with few games remaining in his first season in charge, In the next season he took them to the brink of European Football. The subsequent season was less successful, due mainly to the clubs financial situation, the club sold nine first-team players in the off-season, and Davies was sacked after poor form saw Motherwell gain just 3 points from seven matches at the start of the 2001–02 season.[2]

Major diversion alert!

Can't say I blame you for trying you thick twat.

Like we did with Big Sam and employed a proven manager called John Beck rather give the job to the "unkown quantity" ? I wonder which proven managers we turned down to employ Moyes and Davies (the unknown quantities)? Not sure what you despair about exactly

I wonder why they hit poor form, very strange that.

Did he leave us in a bad financial mess? No. Did he leave Derby in a bad financial mess? No. Did he leave Forest in a bad financial mess? No. Did he leave these teams in a higher position then they were when he took over? Yes.

Derby were rescued by a board takeover so yes he did, Forest are in a similar mess....

Because Alexander and Unsworth are not Moyes, Davies or Allardyce. The fact they went on to be good managers has no bearing whatsoever on their ability.

I'd rather take a chance on Davies than take a shot in the dark.

How is it his fault exactly? If he hadn't have got Derby promoted they would have been 60 million worse off. Forest are making cuts like 95% of football clubs. Not because of the manager, but because of the financial climate worldwide.
