Attendance 8132?!
+1.No pay on the gate, what is this bullshit excuse!
Tonight's attendance was 8132. Where were you all? Very disappointing.
in turkey, but season ticket holder, come on lads get behind the team ffs
Australia. Listening on Player though and there in spirit - and I'm not a morning person, so the 4:30AM starts during the week are kille...zzzzzzzzzz....
Had a bit of a LOL at the Hartlepool commentators this AM when I was flicking between streams (anyone else find the PNE stream drops out often?). They said something like "PNE physio on the pitch without permission... I try not to bad mouth the PNE management team but they make their own rules / one set of rules for them and another for everyone else..." They gave a couple of other examples of GW and his team having their own rules too but they slip my mind right now.
Oh bugger! Hindsight is a wonderful thing
Exactly.
Also, I dunno about anyone else, but if I see "no tickets on the gate", to me that says "bring tickets with you".
Conclusive proof that the prices are way too high.
Do you halve the ticket prices and hope to get twice as many supporters.I don't think that will happen, particularly on a damp Tuesday night. Finances will dictate.

I hope you aren't including all non-season ticket holders in that bracket. Some of us have other commitments and prioritise accordingly (for reference, I was actually on tonight).
Give in, Shabba, and join the Shit Fan Gang with the rest of us that don't have season tickets.
You know it makes sense.
I can safely say, however, I did not watch the Champions League. I was busy and didn't get home from work till gone 9.

Anybody who'd rather watch that disgraceful competition the Champions League on television over spending a Tuesday night under the awe-inspiring floodlights of Deepdale is an embarrassment to the city and to football. For the record I watched Vikings on BBC2.

Not at all.
Various reasons why folk can't make it & for some cost will undoubtably be one but I don't think are prices "are way too high" at all.

A lot will be like me. I was there but my 2 young ones, that I normally bring, werent. I rarely, other than school hols, bring them on night matches as it gets too late when we get home.
I was actually show jumping last night. Got a decent clear round with one and the "newbie" did very well too. Have decided since she's getting on a bit, and in a few years time I don't think I'll be in a position to actually have a horse of my own for a while ive decided to channel a lot of effort into it whilst I still can.

Go for it. We need a new member now that Danny left us.
I did not go on.
Only one working with two children. Bills and feeding my children come before PNE!
As a glory hunting shit fan I'll let you know when I cannot afford to attend the next home game, so some of you more fortunate fans on here can pay for me.
Other than that FUCK OFF!
Oh good result by the way!

And where do you suggest they do this?
The TE looks pretty full most games (even last night there weren't banks of empty seats and even less for Saturday games), the IP and STFS has a premium area which would also be an issue, plus would mean identifying which seats are ST holders seats.
I already see people on the IP sitting where they want only to be moved when a ST holder arrives right on kick off.
What they should do on match days is make the IP ticket office for IP only, STFS for STFS only and the club shop for TE only.
I got on the IP at 7.30 last night and there wasn't a single person waiting at the IP ticket office.
Coming up from Nottingham, I was stuck in a shed load of traffic just after Saddleworth, and as I came up to the M66 junction saw there was loads more queueing so when up the Bury/Blackburn way. Good job I did!Came to deepdale from my flat in manchester. Stuck on M60 until 7.40. Decided to go for it anyway, knowing id be in an even more horrible mood if we lost. Got there 35 mins in. Now feeling pleased with myself despite missing 2 goals.
Do have a season ticket tho. Felt like a bloody ambassador sat in single file traffic for an hour!!
On nights like this though, the journey home is brilliant!
BTW Travelling 5-6 hours in total for every home game, I have little sympathy for most of the cash turnstiles boys, who can't turn up 5-10 minutes earlier.

We are also in a crappy position too, hubby doesn't start new job till 25th of this month, and whilst its going to be a superb opportunity for us both, it means this month we've had to manage on one wage and therefore various bits and pieces have had to be prioritised over others.
I do, however, like your theory. If everyone on here who has commented paid £1 seeing as they are so concerned about wanky attendances, we could easily afford a ticket...
But welcome to the Shit Fan Gang!!!!!

Perhaps Saturday's home defeat to Crawley Allstars failed to inspire the fans to come back in their droves.
What does the club do to attract casual fans? Ridsdale basically suggested, "if you don't buy a season ticket, then sod you."
