Attendance 8132?!

Attendance 8132?!

Anyone who gives a fellow north end fan shit for not going on every game needs to take a long hard look at themselves. At the end of the day it's their money and they will spend it how they please. The harsh reality is a lot of people don't have enough disposable income to be able to afford to go on every game, especially with the prices set as they are. Or if you are a student like myself, you need to save every last penny you've got!
Or if you had a hideous seeping boil on your face that was oozing green puss you might stay away.

Or if you smelt wrong.

Came to deepdale from my flat in manchester. Stuck on M60 until 7.40. Decided to go for it anyway, knowing id be in an even more horrible mood if we lost. Got there 35 mins in. Now feeling pleased with myself despite missing 2 goals.

Do have a season ticket tho. Felt like a bloody ambassador sat in single file traffic for an hour!!

I had a similar experience last season when we played Huddersfield.

I was at CenterParcs in Penrith for the weekend but decided to travel back for the game. I broke down on the M6 near Morecambe and by the time the recovery bloke came, dropped the car off at my house and a cab took me to Deepdale it was 10 minutes in to the second half.

More or less as soon as I sat down Robertson scored.

Would you like to have a go at pointing out what part of my comment is factually incorrect?

If it helps, there's no grammatical reason for using inverted commas. There is no dispute that winning football was played tonight....of course everyone who read the comment, saw it was from you, knew that it was simply a poor attempt to try and spread your cynicism. Your loathing of GW is the stuff of legend, so it should come as no surprise that people bite when you post. The fact that anyone takes any notice of your witterings is the amazing thing; in fact, I can't believe that I've actually wasted a couple of minutes of my life on your posting.

Indeed. Considerably higher than your goodselves. Is this one of those 'level playing field' moments you all keep harping on about?

Not at all. It was more suggesting that them fixtures would have had more on if it wasn't a mid week.

It wasn't a dig at either club. Very defensive tonight, we8

That comment would be fair enough, if it wasn't for the fact there's people complaining about it not being cash turnstiles.

Bone idle dumbasses. How do they cope when they have to do something complicated. Like empty the bins?

Tuesday night game, football on TV, against Hartlepool United, got dicked against Crawley.

We was never going to get 10k on tonight, those who showed their face tonight was the die-hard core support that PNE will always have.

If we keep on winning and end up fighting for the top 2 we will get the championship dwellers back and attendances will go upto 12-13k.

inb4 we8 hijacks this thread.

I see the bike made it home

Bet there's quite a few going Walsall on Saturday, so three games in a week will be too much for many. I didn't fancy spending almost 70 quid in a week on league 1 football so didn't bother tonight as it's the least attractive of the 3 fixtures.

We can chuck the excuses out but at the end of the day, it wasn't a decent attendance.

People have got out of the habit and unfortunately the Champions League in a warm front room is taking preference.

Fair weather, armchair glory hunters.

I hope you aren't including all non-season ticket holders in that bracket. Some of us have other commitments and prioritise accordingly (for reference, I was actually on tonight).
