"Oh Joey Garner, you give them trouble and strife".

Just off the top of my incredibly imaginative poetic head.

Ok they're shit efforts, but it looks like this song is going to get aired a good few times this season and I for one am not letting him anywhere near my wife, metaphorically or not.

Any others? Don't feel bad if you can't be arsed.

(just a bit of Sunday fun 😉)

I wish people would stop trying to change the lyrics of this song.

Why try changing something if it has been working fine and sung loudly for the past year?

Do you honestly think he would sh*g your wife if he got given the chance?
Just have about of fun and enjoy yourself.

Have you got a wife?

Tell her to grow up. She can do a whole lot worse than Joey Garner I'll have you know.

I'd like to see worse than this?

Personally, I think the lyrics should be left alone.

I LOVE IT when I see a bloke chanting this then suddenly remembers that he's sat next to his wife.

Comedy gold.

"Oh Joey Garner, you stick it in with a knife"

It's a particularly vulgar, uncouth line in what is an otherwise decent song. Varying it is a good idea from fartpants.

When Joey hits a wonder strike or a late goal the whole of the IP sings it with wifes and grandmothers there. Just an observation. One bloke lost his head and sung it with his mother present.

I'm sure I've read this on here before;

"You are the light of my life,
How you shine so bright".

However, there's no point trying to change it when it has been sung for so long the way it is.
