Beckford has labyrinthitus...

This is dismaying news and we have to wish him well for a speedy recovery. But we also have to make a hard, arguably harsh-seeming decision about whether he should be sent back. Usually when loan players get any sort of longer term injury - or in this case - illness they are returned to their parent club. Possibly the signing of Robinson is an indication that will happen.

we won't know how bad it is yet, will take a few weeks for all the tests. No point sending him back for another couple of weeks. It might be fine by then.

Do you mean Robinson or Beckford or both because they are both unavailable for a few weeks.

Get well soon, is the only thing to say to a player who has definitely given his all for Pne. He might not have converted many of the chances that came his way but he played on the last defender's shoulders and always looked likely to score. We have sorely missed him in the last matches.

Fully agree with this!!! Think he has been unlucky not to get on the scoresheet more often and always looks dangerous. Hope he is back soon!!

Robinson has - as far as I can tell - a fairly conventional footballing injury that should clear up in a few weeks. Beckford has an illness that seems to make it impossible to tell how long he will be out. You have got to say that we are having some of the worst luck we have had in a long time in this regard. Maybe it will balance out with a few outrageous bits of fortune for us on the field of play.

It's nothing official but something I picked up on Twitter. If it's a load of bull profound apologies to all

OK, that means there's some hope that he might not have this horrid sounding affliction. BBC Sports preview says that Beckford is hoping to find himself back in the starting XI ..... but sometimes there's more bull on the BBC than on Twitter.
