Beckford has labyrinthitus...

Reading peoples personal experiences with it in here it sounds as though it is something you can't put an exact recovery time on. We aren't in any position to be turning strikers away atm but seems pointless to keep hold of him if it could happen at any moment, send him back imo. He has been better than I expected since arriving but I won't miss the constant offsides. Just have to hope SEB gets fitter sharpish and we can hobble along until Garner gets back.

if beckford has labyrinthitus then I doubt we will see him in up and coming games ... I have suffered from it in the past and it is like sea sickess, some people require extensive hospital treatment. Doctors reckon its a virus infection that upset your internal ear canals/brains balance mechanism. When is he due to return to Bolton ?

There was me thinking he'd just got lost in a maze.

To be fair, I'd probably feel dizzy wearing pants that tight ...

I've had the same - fortunately mine cleared up within weeks with antibiotics so fingers crossed for a swift return to action for a desparately needed forward who knows where the net is.

I had this about 10 years ago and was signed off work for near 6 months. Can be fine one minute then bang it hits you. Would not wish it on my own worst enemy. I had to go to balance rehab it was that bad.

Im not quite sure people are grasping the seiousness of this condition. Seeing a lot of really uncharitable postings. Its a career threatening illness, ive mentioned it a few times on other threads.

Seriously hope the lad isnt as bad as it seems because its not just bad luck for us, as a club, but devasting news for a pro player 🙁

Well said. It's shit news for PNE, but potentially even shittier news for a decent young player.
