Bristol City lost 2 of their last 3 league games.
Swindon lost 4 of last 5.
MK Dons lost 2 of last 4.
North End won 3 on the bounce with good cup performances v SU and MU. 😀

Is that creaking I can hear.

There will be many twists and turns along the way......

Funnily enough, that's the exact reason I won't be watching Fifty Shades of Grey. I like to watch films in... Comfort.

In all seriousness, it's great to see those above tumbling ever so slightly by the week. Hopefully it continues to be a consistent thing.

Let's hope so.....

Great stats 🙂

The last time we were promoted as champs from this division we led from about christmas onwards if not before but we're always looking over outré shoulder, but Bristol Rovers plummeted with a great squad from second to either 6th or 7th and there were other clubs consistently changing places around us like Gillingham, Wigan and Burnley who changed places frequently because of inconsistent results.

We must make sure we are like Simon Grayson - boring and consistent, let the other teams be flamboyant and unpredictable. If they're inconsistent it will only be good for us.

Very interesting. Didn't realize those 3 have had a bad run of late, seems like they're winning all the time.

Very good stats!
Mark Cooper sounded a little panicked in his post match interview today! They're all bound to have their bad patches, we just need to push ahead. 15 games left and it's all in the balance.

Hopefully we have had ours and we can head into the run-in with a full fit squad who are full of confidence.

There's no doubt that those above us will be looking over their shoulders, particularly as we have games in hand over them.

We may just have a chance after all...

Agreed.
We have a very good chance and look the strongest we have been all season. Garner is back, Robinson is on form and Hugill/Beckford will be returning soon.
Can't get carried away yet, but it's looking good.

Still think MK will be the hardest to shift out of the top three. Makes our game down there VERY important. Going to be tough but even a point would be good.
A lot I think is going to depend on what other teams do.
Could be a wild ride of a run in.

Absolutely. Yesterday's win was important. We got the job done and killed the game off. More of the same, please.

I have seen comments from Swindon and Bristol City fans saying that they have relatively small squads. Games come thick and fast at this time of the year with a lot of teams playing twice a week and on heavy pitches.

The fact that we have a big squad and the quality is fairly consistent throughout it, could prove to be a positive and decisive factor for PNE this year.
