So Buchanan who was probably the best player against Walsall, deserved to lose his place to a 17 year old centre back, making his debut at left back?

I tried highlighting with you on another thread, you didn't seem to get it,so I don't think I'll bother again.
You really need to give trying to be super clever a rest,you don't pull it off and you could seriously injure yourself.

Again I really do not think I am being clever.

I am just making a point that the team today did better than the one two weeks ago and football is a team game.

I have to conclude that Westley got it right overall - no matter what my views on individual replacements might be.
 
This is a clip from Westley's post match interview.

“Character and the state of the players character is important to always find out about and today we saw a group of players who were playing for each other, playing for the Club, playing for me and playing for the result.

This indicates to me that Westley is pointing out that some players {players he brought to the club} don't want to play for him.
