McAvoy sacked (Confirmed)

McAvoy sacked (Confirmed)

I must admit I’d be quite excited if Lowe were the appointment.
Looking at the way he’s set teams up at Plymouth he does actually play a 3-5-2 system the way it should be played….the stats on most of their games back that up.
I suppose his problem may be if we haven’t got the right personnel to play the system at the moment?

I thought “ the 1967 British television series about an unnamed British intelligence agent who is abducted and imprisoned in a mysterious coastal village “ came back a few months ago and it turned out it was Voldemort….

I won’t ever forgive him because he called my Hat Trick “ Pointless “…. 😳😳

That sounds like grounds for the first ban under the new regime

Hello N'enders

Well we have two forums ( fora? Forii?) in meltdown. Knowledge is a scarcity...there was a massive surge in Lowe mania when a fake tweet was regurgitated by the local Argyle journey ( and then retracted) but not before the subsequent article was picked up and amplified by Talksport and others....

Mind you some of our finest literary talents have started abusing Lowe on Twitter....so gawd knows what they do if he stays.

On the plus side from our perspective Lowe might be seeing what is on offer....or simply getting an extension rise sorted whilst in demand....

Your plusses are established Championship club, close to his family and he is probably going to go one day so why not now.

Your minuses are he is tipped for just about every job going, is ( generally) loved by the fans, has a great relationship with a Chairman who has a stable financial plan and money in the bank, and he might still get there ( Championship) under his own steam. Oh and Ridsdale. Although that is probably more a fan thing than a Lowe thing. And we might keep Schumacher and Dewsnip who are both integral to the set up.

So if he does come to you expect 3 5 2, playing through the thirds and lots of Sky punditry appearances.

If you want a sighter we are on Sky v MK Dons on Wednesday, which will either be a what's to come to a what might of been.

Enjoy the ride! ( he has probably been announced whilst I was writing this)

If a new manager comes in do we rethink the captaincy situation then?

Browne is playing better but the mood has been flat and he's got himself in trouble more than he needs. Now perhaps Browne wasn't happy with the management situation but one way or another is it an opportunity to think again or do you keep the captain?

Thinking Grayson changed the captain fairly quickly and with a certain goal it had an impact...

Some people are just evil. 😈 😉

I only saw the info about Lowe after I wrote that. But he is not yet appointed. Curiously though I have absolutely no connections to Plymouth and have never even been there I have developed an interest in them and like to see they have won.
I've always liked their colours. I may be wrong but I can't think of another team currently in the league who wear green (discounting Forest Green and their awful dayglo kit).

Thanks for that. After everything you’ve told us that’s good at your end, and us having Ridsfail at North End, I think he would be bonkers to head North. Will be watching on Weds night. Good luck.

Just out of interest I seem to recall a few years back you were on your raggedy arse and a certain Mr Ridsdale found you a new owner and it saved you from oblivion, is it still the same owner?

I believe Ridsdale found them a different owner, who turned out to have no ready cash.

They say that if you give a monkey a typewriter it will eventually type the complete works of Shakespeare. And with that comment, Andrew has just hit the jackpot.

I haven’t had time to read today’s messages but it was my understanding that we couldn’t approach a Manager in work without the Clubs permission. Nowhere have I seen that Plymouth or any other club for that matter have given us permission to talk to their Manager, but it was reported last night that we expect the new Manager to be in place this week and that he is currently at another club. If this is true, we have either been highly professional in our approach or we’re naïve to think we‘ll roll up and immediately get that permission.

If there's a set clause in his contract for compensation, its pretty simple.

Decent first post for a non PNE fan.

Respectful and informative. (Take a note Lashers/Plastics).
