How to Grieve when grief keeps coming

How to Grieve when grief keeps coming

Hi Thanks for the comments, Got told of another death Yesterday Morning, completely lost it, got arrested for my own protection. Saw a specialist whom authorised my release. Got offered more meds, but told them to shove them, they not going to help if things keep going wrong. But my little spell in a cell allowed me a little time to think. Police where nice, got me a Pizza and a costa Hot Chocolate. Finally something went my way lol. All I can say is people are listening, watching and finally looking at helping me.

As for the Delwyn go fund me, It is 100% active. But please don't feel you have to help, I will get though it. Getting things off my chest has refocused me, I am determined to do what I can, even if it means Selling a Kidney or a Piece of Liver. Been an eventful weekend. I know getting arrested is not good and wasted police time, but without it I really think I was close to doing something that would help the Birds to me.

in other news I was getting a Drink in the Shop and the Guy in front of me, was claiming what he thought was a £30 Lotto win, But turned out he won £1,750. Lucky bugger. Could of paid for my 30p Carton of juice.

I`ll start the ball rolling and stick 20 quid in. Hope that`s okay..I don`t have the words to help and it would make me feel better.

Can you confirm your initials are DP so I know I`ve got the right one?

And can I put a link on here so others can find it?

I found the same page. A lot of the same details are in the profile on here so I think it’s safe to say you’ve found the right page. Will pop something over when back at my desk in the morning also

Fair play to Anonymous. Most folk just think they’re a bunch of weirdo’s with vitamin D deficiencies.

I don't mind, I not going to turn away help, but don't want to be seen expecting it. Also please make sure its within the forum rules. I don't want anyone to get into trouble. Thank you for the donations, they will help, they will go to the Birds. If anyone wants updates, feel free to inbox.

King Bob the one with the tumor has this Morning gone to see a Specialist in North Wales. I have agreed reluctantly to let them do a paper on him. This means test treatment, that will followed up and peer reviewed by other Vets and if successful, will go on to teach other Vets. Hard Decision because I don't know the costs and I won't be with him. Was out on the spot and hoping I made the right decision. I know in my head it is for other Birds, but is it for King Bob. Time will tell.

You're a good person - remember this - for simply being there for your Birds.

To them, you are their lifeline and this makes you important. This, alone, is a fantastic reason to be cheerful, even when the chips are down.

When I have a shitty time, I go and lay down with Jessy and Sasha (Cats), talk to them about any old nonsense, maybe reminisce and realise that THEY need me. Everything else melts away.

December 2020 between the 25th/26th and the 31st was horrific for myself. I hit my own personal rock bottom, or so it seemed at the time. My goal was January 1st 2021. Everything just came to an head. I was lucky that I could target something a mere week away.

Don't do anything daft.

I came to learn that as long as I have the basic needs, then I am doing alright. Everything else - which got to me - is just fluff. I eventually got there and sussed it out.

Keep the Faith.

Just to add regards your lack of tears, I never cry at deaths, funerals except when my Grandad passed away, I do however bawl at the death of my pets. You are not alone in this regard, it is probably quite common.

How does Gofundme work? Will he have to reach the £1000 target before he's given access to the money? Or can he draw out the money as soon as it's donated?

Depends on the platform as they all work slightly differently. Some if you don't reach your target then it gets cancelled. Looks like on there you can just raise what you want and withdraw it. I'm looking at similar for my training costs.

No, as soon as the money clears they take their cut, 1,5% I think, then the rest is transferred to Delwyns account. The Donations today will be in Delwyns account by next Tuesday. Then there is a 3 form verification to spend any money. I and my partner have to be there at the time and the bank can with hold the payment if they suspect its not going on Birds needs. So if I tried to use the Card in Tesco's or say Asda, it would decline and I would have to ring the bank. (I dunno how that works as never had to use it) However if its a Vets or Pet shop, the payments are made. I put a lot of stuff in place a few years back to be 100% sure if I lost the Card, it would be useless to anyone. You also can't use Contactless, it would instant decline. I am not 100% sure what happens when you reach the target on the website, I think like Justgiving, the amount to raise goes up until its cancelled.

Cheers mate, yeah I was just worried that any donation might be useless if Gofundme don't give you access to the money unless you reach your target....when you actually need access to the money ASAP rather than waiting until you reach the goal amount. 👍

Thank you, a lot of this post has gone Birds related, but I still struggling with the main issues. this afternoon, I had a doctor ring me, it was a good job it was over the phone. He said when I am angry, Count to ten and breath slowly. I hate that advice.

It used to be, but they changed and made it where anyone can raise funds. I think I saw one to buy a computer. I would be very uncomfortable raising funds. Strange though they popular,

Examples
Computer for a Granny
Computer for some random person.

Little update on King Bob, they say he has a skin tumor (non Cancer) between his ear and eye. In the worst possible place. Because of this the Vet doesn't want to operate, but wants to get further information, but it could take a week. He's not in pain, but is stressed. So as long as he is Eating and Drinking they happy to keep hold of him and keep giving him Meds. Will know more when a Vet comes over from Germany. (He was coming over as he used to live here and still helps with the stranger condition on exotic pets and someone has a Snake with a massive blockage. Ouch!). All the other Birds have been seen now by a Vet and apart from the one that can't fly, the all doing ok. The one that can't fly will have to go back to being hand fed to bulk her up. Plasters at the ready.

Tomorrow I am going to take a few days out, leaving my Partner with the Birds, Sadly Sparky can travel due to Bird Flu (Laura's problem) Going to take in North Wales to See King Bob then go to a caravan and try relax and give myself time. Taking Pictures of my Mum and a few Video's. Partner is going to have access to a Camera to check on me, but promised not to bother me unless she has to. also I have to ring Mental health everyday and report in.

Thank you. See you all on the Matchday tonight, then in a few days.
