Whoever painted your skirting boards missed a bit 🤣🤣......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Seriously, good luck to your grandson I really hope he makes you and himself proud by someday pulling on the famous lillywhite shirt for the first team. 👍

Cheers, not my skirtings though, I miss nothing🤣

All the best to your grandson @northender0602. It would be fantastic if he could make it at North End. Sounds like it would be a dream come true.

Make sure to tell him not to get too disheartened if the trial doesn't go as hoped. The big clubs in the region are always on the lookout and there is a chance one of those may recognise his talent, if North End don't. Ethan and Tyrhys are good examples as to what can still be achieved.

So in future years when doing matchday threads do you want *His Name* aka Northender0602 Grandson or Northerner0602's Grandson *His Name*? Plenty of time to work it out. Goodluck to him. Looking forward to his proud Nana bragging about him on here. He got this.

I'm buzzing for him. He did one to ones with my older lad as his dad wanted him fitter b4 starting his trial, my lad had no doubt he would get in he's built like a footballer fair play to him every credit big 2 years for him now to go and get that scholership 🤞🤞👍

He looks a lot older than he is and he has a pretty level head on his shoulders, apparenly its hard to find a kid with that height and build with his abilities. I will never forget us taking him to Blackpool beach with a football at barely two and saw him kick that ball, I commented how well he kicked it and that he’d used his left foot. Him and his grandad and the granddaughter always had a kick around at somepoint, I used to tackle him myself on the odd occasion.🤣. His mum said he used to watch football skills in you tube or something and he would keep trying till he got it right. It was like a football was an extension of his body.
