Matchday Thread PNE v QPR - 1/12/23 - KO: 8PM - Championship

I’d predicted a 1..3 loss ..Turns out I was being optimistic, by thinking we’d actually get a goal. .. absolute dross ..boring, uncommitted and clueless.. how many games does a manager have to lose to get the sack .. ?
 
Having pondered over the defeat last night, it is not just the result, similar to the defeat against Middlesbrough it's the overall performance coupled with the defeat.
Neither Middlesbrough or QPR are particularly good teams, but neither were required to work particularly hard to collect the three points and in either game we did not look likely to trouble the score sheet.
Two totally inept performances,devoid of any fight, we just surrendered the result and points to both sides,our players not having the stomach for a fight,our manager tactically abysmal and two unacceptable performances.
 
Just thawed out!Very poor performance.I sometimes wondered which direction we were attacking.£32 to watch that…..
 
Only just finished taking off pretty much every piece of clothing I own. Kudos to those that turned up. Pity the players didn't.

Not sure where to really start with that, pretty gobsmacked how bad it was.

Make no mistake that's the kind of result & performance that get managers the sack.

He won't of course but he's getting to the stage again where the fans are getting restless & it that end well for him.

During a break of play few players went to get water and Lowe went to speak to Whiteman and he completely ignored him. Turned his back then talked to a teammate. Lowe has lost the players.

I think he’ll be gone by Sunderland.

I don't know what's up with Whiteman.

He doesn't seem to give a toss at the minute.

If he wanted to stay he should be playing out of skin to try & get a new deal but clearly he doesn't.
 
Back from the match. Thought it couldn't get worse but it did.
Our last 3 results, all against teams below us, summarise our problems. Goals for 1 Goals against 8. We do not create, we do not defend. As it is I cannot see where the goals are coming from to win a game. All I see is some heavy defeats on the horizon.

One thing I would ask, the insults aimed at they Manager from the IP where I sit, please think about what you are shouting. I was sat next to a bloke and his young lad and the language used was totally unacceptable. I also , felt sorry,for a fellow human going to work and being abused. Ryan Lowe. Yes the football is dross and I fear we will slide towards the bottom of the table, but please. Think On

I guess they count ST holders even if they don't turn up but there didn't look anywhere near 14000 on to me.

You've hit the nail on the head. Cardiff were also very ordinary.

I don't particularly agree with some of the stuff that's shouted towards Lowe & some of the players but it's just pure frustration.

When you pay good money to watch that dross then feelings will be running high.

Lowe didn’t look that bothered laughing at fans when he was leaving the pitch
