Matchday Thread PNE v Ipswich - 03/02/24 - KO:3PM - Championship

[Lee Trundle]

Other than Riis, can’t say anyone has had a bad game. Great performance.

Storey, Lindsay, Hughes and Woodman have had so little to do. Ipswich have been woeful

[cragtek]

Is that 11 goals for Keane now, or did the first one go down as an OG? Our 20 goal a season striker.

[Sid Snot]

That were good. Same for t'second half please.

[stf4ever]

A lot of luck with the goals but I'll definitely take it. Great performance.

[NG White]

Frojkaer needs more credit for his defensive contribution. He gets back well, drops into a deep midfield role, and makes things difficult. He's been superb at it today.

He's done it from day one but people have accused him of being a luxury player. I don't get it.

He's a fantastic footballer who has been grossly underused so far. Great to see him flourishing.

[Sid Snot]

The Mrs is coming along today and she is a bit of a good luck charm. We haven't lost a game when she has been there. Who knows maybe it can work again 🤣

PM me the cost of a season ticket for your Peg. I'll pay for it 😂

Football never fails to amaze!

[shabbagaz]

Very good performance and proof we are more than capable of them.

Ipswich have been catastrophic at the back but a combination of Keane, Mads, Millar and Riis has caused chaos.

I just hope our levels don't drop!

[Seamustasmania]

Was when we beat Cardiff 9-0 May 1966 🤣🤣

They were five nil up at half time against Cardiff .. … I was there 😍

[arumturk]

If Lowe gets us into the prem. !! we'll never get rid of him

Then we win the European cup, it'll be an absolute nightmare🤔🤔🤔🤔

[andyg156]

Amazing first half in all departments..let's preparare for a crap second half. We all know the half time talk will be defend the lead 🙁

[anubis]

Brilliant half that. Given them no time on the ball, pressured them into mistakes with their tippy tappy build up from the back & fully deserve the handsome lead. Reluctant to single anyone out but Mads has been ace.

[Gordon Bennett]

Did Billy Davies do the teamtalk before the game?

[Mitsuya]

A lot of luck with the goals but I'll definitely take it. Great performance.

You've got to make your own luck and that's what we're doing by pressing high and going for it.

[Timone]

Mads is the best player on the pitch. Team should be built around him

Enjoy it while we can. Better managers will soon work out how to counter him and Lowe won't be able to adapt.

Then we win the European cup, it'll be an absolute nightmare🤔🤔🤔🤔

Just come in from a walk I think I must still be in bed and dreaming???????

[MrHodgeheg123]

Classic North End. We play like prime Barcelona one week, then the next month we’ll play like the local pub team after 8 pints.

Tended to find that's when I played my best football.

[Tugg Speedman]

Well now...

RLSWA!!

2nd half will be tough, Ipswich will keep going.

But even so, 🖕to the haters.

[Harry]

Did Billy Davies do the teamtalk before the game?

Hope he is in there with a half time talk too....😂
