Matchday Thread Coventry City v PNE -23/02/24 - KO:7.45PM
Glad you saw a belter. You have seen enough dross away.Fucking brilliant, mate.
Half the ground left at HT. May be from up North, but we take the piss at your own ground.
Up the whites 💙
seems like he played RWB according to George so the guess must have been wrong or Ryan was strong enough to make him ?? 😉I think that Browne likes to be amongst the goals whereas McCann is not that bothered. He is better in the tackle.

We are winning 3-0. Who gives a shit who comes on.
Woodburn could come on every game if we win for all I care. It weird that people seem to get so upset over it.
Maybe try looking at the bigger picture?
FFS we beat a promotion rival 0-3. and people still wanna moan because Seary didn't get put on earlier. Drink a beer, do some shrooms, watch porn or do something to calm down.
Yes, and Woodburn’s a far better prospect for PNE?
Got a yellow for his troubles, commenting ob Roberts fine challenge on Mads I believe! 😉
Only just seen the briwf highlights. One thng that struck me is how quick we look on the counter and forward passes . Well done lads
Fantastic result with two different halves of brilliant performances .
Keep them all fit and let’s see where we can go.
Bring on Hull next week.
Let’s pack the place out again.
Can’t wait.

Enjoyed this, pretty balanced Cov fan view of the night. Praised our fans, said we were good without needing to be amazing, we looked like scoring every time we went forward.

Decent blog that to be fair.
I'd say the main meltdown is on the 2nd goal!

This is where I think Mads has been integral to our recent form. Players like Whiteman know they have an outlet and when Mads gets the ball he moves the ball so quickly.

I think your missing my point friend. Fantastic win today and the young guys will get their chance at some point; its not the end of the world that they got 5 minutes less than people thought they should have.Yes, and Woodburn’s a far better prospect for PNE?

I don't think anybody's saying it's the end of the world. It would have been nice to see these lads given a chance in a very comfortable situation.

Better to give no hopers like Woodburn and Ledson the chance when the game’s virtually won instead of our real prospects for the future?
Agree it’s not the end of the world, just timid management imho.

Fair enough friend and @26-0I don't think anybody's saying it's the end of the world. It would have been nice to see these lads given a chance in a very comfortable situation.
Just ecstatic with the win today! And don't see any need to criticize anything haha.

I agree tbh.
We were 3-0 up. Game was done.
Absolutely no harm in chucking Noah and Stewart on over Woodburn and Ledson.
I imagine the latter two will be out the door come the summer so surely the progressive thing would be to play the young lads who need game time.
Can’t complain too much though. Gaffer has us 4 wins in 6.

I'd make Riis MotM. Then hard to choose between Mads, Keane, Browne and McCann. And a lot of others were right up close behind. The blocks from Hughes just before half-time were superb. If they'd scored then, it would have given them a lift.I’m going to single out Ali Mccann tonight , i thought he was absolutely fantastic !!
We played with such width. And the intricate passing that, earlier in the season, tended to be side, side, back, back, side was far more progressive and dynamic.

Sorry to admit it. I’ve had a really busy week. Few too many mid afternoon beers.
Early night.
Fell asleep at halftime.
I’m ashamed
