Big couple of games coming up with this & then Southampton away midweek.

Think it might be a tricky one today. They are up there probably unexpectedly but obviously on merit.

We're on a decent run though so let's see what happens.

If we can get 4 points from these 2 games that would a good return.

Big week ahead for lots of teams 3 games week. 2 home & 1 away. Big chance to get close to play offs with a win won't be easy tho.
but we have took some big points lately. Let's just enjoy where we are after January where we where heading down table. On a decent run both teams in form table.

Also quite optimistic for today, I sense teams around us will approach playing us differently and be a little more cautious. Hull are serious playoff contenders and need a win…. Might play into our hands, well…. all we can do is hope!

Nothing to lose at this point, allow the players to go out and want to win it. We can’t play cautious football as we always concede too many. Picking up 3 points here keeps us in touch with 6th and takes some pressure off against Southampton.

I don’t think Lowe would be criticised if he puts out a team that has been put out to go and try to win.

Missing today, gutted, but helping family comes 1st.
Will be there in spirit (our season cards say so 🙈) and hope for a win to give the boys even greater confidence going forward.
And encourage a consistent attacking mindset with RL, square pegs etc, irrespective of the opposition.
Three points today will be immense. COYW!!!!

We need to start of on the front foot as at Coventry and definitely not as we started against the Plastics.

Should be a decent attendance on today, anyone know what the Hull following is predicted to be?

I'm setting off for the game in about an hour. I have to say, anticipation for match day is far more intense than it used to be not so long ago. I hope we aren't let down. Not that today is season defining. Three points would be MASSIVE.

COYW!

Proper '6 pointer' today. Must win if we have any designs on top 6. If they win that moves the gap to 6th place to 6pts plus GD. Think that would be too much to pull back. Just happy were in the mix with a chance! Actually looking forward to today with some nerves kicking in. Huge match, COYW!!

I just hope we keep it tight at the back sometimes we concede way to quick which sets us back massively

I've had a sneaky look on their forum. As of yesterday they'd sold 2200 but are expecting more.
They think it will be a tough game but hope to catch us on the break.
They are totally bemused by butter pies!
They hope to get a pint in the Sumners 😬
Preston is a shit hole, the only good thing is the Mormon Temple.

We're just a small town in Chorley!

We're due a bad result and they seem to have some pacy forward players who could cause our defence some real problems.

I fancied us to win against both Leeds and Ipswich but think we may come unstuck today.
Hopefully I'm wrong.
