Matchday Thread PNE v Leicester City - 29/04/24 - KO:8PM - Championship

Very poor - a lack of fight and sheer will to win. RL cannot make the team play with the consistent mix of pace and invention needed to succeed at this level. We need four maybe five new players. If the club is taken over I cannot see new owners persisting with RL. But let's get this season out of the way and then see where we go from there.

A key issue of ours is mentality. If our gameplan is not working, we look awful. No inbetween. No leader on the pitch. It's why Ipswich are so good. They can have bad moments but always come back.

I'm 50/50 with Lowe. But if he does go, I want his entire backroom out too.

Genuine question, if you’re 50/50 on Lowe, what do you see that makes you think he could be the man to take us anywhere?

Browne had a terrible game. Thought he may be signing for Leicester based on how many times he passed to them.
 
Bottom line is PNEFC has a bottom 6 Budget, we are 10th.....The club needs new owners, get rid of Ridsdale, can't judge the manager as we have a pub team. The biggest asset are the fans, season after season shafted. Gutted for you all. Hemmings family out!!

Westley ball was fucking rubbish, that was lack of quality, this stuff Ryan is serving up is borderline disgusting.

Cheap season tickets are the only reason we’ll sell any. Absolutely embarrassed after that.

Only because we've had moments where we look good and have runs of form. I'm 50/50 on whether the current bad form is Lowe or the players. So many basic errors, every game.
 
We didn't show any passion or fight .Just went down with a whimper. That might have been Ryan's plan for this game, keep it down to 3 .

Didn't RL say he would leave if he didn't think he was taking the club forward utter bullshit & the likes of Peter can just does nothing all day.

Nice that the Mawene brothers are on getting mins in front of Deepdale but it can't help there confidence with the way we play. We can't start season with the young lads or where In big trouble as it is.

Well I didn't bother tonight, I wouldn't have made it anyway with work but if I had of gone on, there's no way I would've been hanging around.
Same set up, no matter who we come up against.
Does anybody in their right mind want to see a continuation of this next season?

Sunderland Leicester Boro ok they lost 4-1 but they where enjoying themselfs on last day us. Just walking away to a mid table finish again fantastic stuff.
