I wonder how much he thinks he is worth not to be embarrassed? Obviously £1.7million isn’t high enough to pull out of the deal so he definitely will not pull out of a £1.2million deal for Greenwood. It just shows how frail and fragile his ego must be if he puts the possibility of being embarrassed over the good of the club.

I’ll be glad when he retires from football with PNE.

No to signing Greenwood - get a prem loan in who can carry the ball to compete with and compliment Mads, and re-direct the budget towards wing backs.
Keep Mawene, find him a decent loan, and see where we're at in 18 months with him.

If we have learnt anything from our past transfer failure we shouldn't touch Greenwood. Not the worst player I've seen in white but it's just more of the same. I wouldn't sign him if he was free, not good enough!

When we're rightly critical of the club for spending a large part of our budget on Okkels, we also should be critical if we spend a similar amount on Greenwoods fee, plus higher wages.

He's been poor since Sheffield Wednesday at home for me. Really disappointing and a very similar to how he was at Boro.
