Do you not tire of being a prick? He's already worth £2m+, guaranteed to increase in value.

Morning grumpy x
Well if that happened it was extremely foolish to say the leastWasn’t the Sam Greenwood deal sorted by Ridsdale when he met his Dad on our trip to Spain?
As well as the first option to buy could he not have inserted a guaranteed appearance clause….I really can’t see any other reason for keep selecting him.

If Mads and Holmes were were available, they'd likely be starting ahead of him based on form right now. But they aren't.

I think his continued involvement even while playing poorly is mainly due to a lack of attacking options in midfield. We basically only have Mads and Greenwood for that role so if one is missing the other will have to play
Yeah, Holmes getting injured has hurt more than expected there. The only other real cover would be Potts or Keane, and neither feels like a great option.
At least with Greenwood we can send him back were as with Harrop and Woodburn we were lumbered with them and couldn't get rid .At the moment he’s a waste of a shirt if selected.
Very disappointing.
Another Harrop/Woodburn……

I actually think he’s one of those players that thinks he’s far better than he actually is.
This has always been my view and maybe comes from people telling him how great he is from a young age.I actually think he’s one of those players that thinks he’s far better than he actually is.
You can have all the skill in the world but if you don’t have the decision making skills and heart you’re not going to make it to the level you might have done.
We shouldn't sign him. We will sign him. The pne circus will continue.

Always a touch too many is my main criticism of him.
You don’t get the time against the good sides.

We chose not to get rid by giving them new contracts. Expect a bumper contract for Greenwood 😬😬At least with Greenwood we can send him back were as with Harrop and Woodburn we were lumbered with them and couldn't get rid .
Common sense but does our ace negotiate have any .Like others have posted and Boro fans, was good until Christmas and has tailed off.
I’d personally not sign him, I’d rather give mads more money on a long contract to tie up our asset. And work the team around mads.

He’s never been able to truly convince me, even earlier in the season.
He’s good off the ball but ultimately he lacks the pace or power to truly succeed in this division. A ruthless football club would pass on signing him, especially with Mads already in the building.

I'm not so sure. Not convinced that Hecky actually rates him now he's had time to assess the squad he's inherited.
Been impressed how ruthless he's been over Okkels, tried to be with Whatmough and his own choice of Bowler, so maybe times are a-changing...?
