I've not been involved in anything like this for North End. Been a school governor for a few years so I see some parallels in balancing some understandable areas where confidentiality is needed, against a fair expectation that everything doesn't have to be behind closed doors.

I totally get the comments ify skepticism, especially from those who feel they've personally been down this road before. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it shakes out.

Fwiw, I wasn't asked if or how often I either post on or follow the forum/Facebook etc.

The only problem I had with the process was the apparent lack of transparency. I understand that confidentiality is important but not in a “democratic” vote with changing goal posts.

I like the points you raised about how atmospheres often build from the front and middle.

Just read the minutes and to be fair, there are some good-intentioned ideas / suggestions.

I like the idea of TNW creating a unique anthem which is short and catchy , just like the “ North London “ song written and sung by Louis Dunford.

I actually posted a question on TNW’s FB page asking them if they could create something , obviously they are already involved in it….
 
I did notice the words on the screen for player chants (before the Rovers game I think?) with the accompanying tune being played through the speakers.

Seemed to work reasonably well. With better chants and people knowing it's going to happen, it could definitely be something to work on.

Yeah, I didn't mind this at all actually. Just hope it's not rinsed every home game. Needs to be saved for just the big games.

And we need to keep playing Insomnia. Tune.

Thanks for your efforts JK, Let's hope that the panel and the club can implement some good ideas to improve the atmosphere and match experience for the younger supporters who attend. Hopefully they'll become the future of the club.

Given the very quick turnaround it worked really well.

The idea moving forward would be to mix it up a bit.

If anyone else has any suggestions for "quick improvements" for the rest of this season, let me know.
