Another pathetic home result added to Hecky’s recent collection of Oxford and West Brom! He doesn’t deserve another season so I hope the new regime get rid.
I hope the good days are finally around the corner. Time to close the curtains on another disappointing season after the good start we had. I’m on standby for another season ticket. It’s a huge commitment for 6 hours of dross to watch Hecky’s 352!

My mate who I took on today is a ‘neutral’ and just wanted to see a game he would enjoy. His views of the game were as follows:
- He really enjoyed the game
- He said that if he didn’t know already, he would have been able to tell which of the two team were in the play-off position as there was very little between the two teams.
- He said that a fair result would have been a draw and 1-3 certainly flattered Southampton.
- He thought we were very unlucky not to score more.
- He would definitely come with me again to watch us play next season.
- He liked the stadium and thought the pitch looked really good and was surprised when I told him that 1 to 2 months ago it looked like a potato field.
- He thinks us Northenders are too harsh regards our team given he has seen a few of our matches this season on SKY.
BTW I enjoyed the game apart from the score and hope Zedan takes over soon. The future id bright, The future is white 👍

Yeah I had a stop gap from 2013 to 2024. But after the last 2 years of Hecky ball it has taken its toll. Not many can sign up for this as the price has gone up.
They had their main players on the bench still we were unable to score. And the one we did score was a mistake and tap in from an open net!
They do but the colour rose is one specific colour - a red/magenta colour.
Southampton have been shopping in Harrods quality, we have been shopping in Poundsavers, it stands to sense that they would have a bench full of players we would covet.
Maybe it could be about to change, who knows?
Still negative tactics which limits our attacking intent. And we were unable to shut their large following. I think it was the first time this season we gave away the whole stand. Our hardcore fans weren’t able to counter them because the setup doesn’t allow us to get excited or roar the team forward. I hope Zedan and the takeover changes with a new manager!
As a few others have noted I think Southampton were a bit over arrogant and unnecessary at the end.
Maybe they think the Play-offs will be a walkover as they are so fantastic.

As my mate said yesterday, the way PNE managed to make so many very good chances, if Southampton do win the playoffs they are going to have to spend very heavily just on their defence otherwise they will ship a load of goals and end up losing the majority of their games and get relegated again after just one season.
