Confirmed Carabao Cup 1st Round Draw. (Huddersfield - Goodison Park)
Cheers Moyesy for helping us out. Whilst you’re at it can we have Armstrong again for the season. Thanks

Nichols is head and shoulders above Cornell. Much better pedigree.I wouldn’t risk Iversen for this game so it’s Nicholls opportunity to show us if he is any better than Cornell and that we haven’t made a mistake to bring him here!

What’s Moyes got to do with it?Cheers Moyesy for helping us out. Whilst you’re at it can we have Armstrong again for the season. Thanks
Gutted. I come back off holiday on that day, don’t know whether I can make it back on time. Always wanted to go to goodison. I might have to do some superior driving on the way back to make it in time.
Was a tongue in cheek statementWhat’s Moyes got to do with it?
wasnt going to go, but tempted now, a chance to go to Goodison 1 last time
Well that is spectacular. I suppose it negates whatever home advantage we might have gained by by playing the match at our place but giving the new pitch another couple of weeks is worthwhile if it helps give us a better pitch to play on over the course of the whole season. This is still a match we have to approach seriously, which I am sure we will - one of the things I like about PH is that he does put out strong sides for cup matches.

I went to the League Cup match at Goodison in 2004. It was a week after my Grandad (lifelong PNE fan who was a truck driver for K&P Iddon) passed away. He was supposed to come to the match with me, my Dad and uncle and I'd have been aged 9 at the time. It'll be wonderful to go to the ground one last time to watch Preston and I'm sure will get my emotions stirred.
Yeah be a good do this, I wasnt going to bother if it had been switched to Hudds, but the novelty of this is enough to draw me back in!

How strange, but a fair pragmatic decsion given our new pitch, etc.
May as well keep the Hudderfield fans in Goodison's away fan section as I can't see them bringing 3000 fans.
The Park Stand - the new modern looking stand - holds 5750 - are we realistically going to bring more than that for a 1st Round League Cup match?
I'd let PNE fans who can be arsed, go in the Park Stand and open up the other two stands for Evertonians who want a trip down memory lane.
May as well make some money on the back of this 🤣

This will be a great day out and nice to go back to Goodison.
Mate who supports Everton said he might go along to this one for one final trip to Goodison
