Our biggest problem apart from Devine is we're so predictable everything we do is so slow we are severely lacking in pace all over the pitch and the only positive I can take from yesterday was the new striker at least he was putting himself about and trying to rev the crowd up. A minimum of 5 players needed.

I don’t know what is a less attractive prospect. Going into Bolton with what we have currently, or bringing in 6 players we know will probably be panic buys rather than main targets

Our central midfield has been a problem for years, it only began to look effective when Armstrong was with us and collapsed again the moment he left.

I’m delighted Whiteman is on his way out. It’s a great opportunity to do something different.

Either way I still feel like we will be starting with the 5-3-2, with Thompson and McCann screening.

Also confused what we are going to be doing if Vukcevic and Pol are injured.

I don’t think Pol is injured, pretty sure it was a planned sub just to manage minutes.

Yeah I'd be happy to see both him and McCann leave to try give it a completely new look. We've had the same kind of midfield for years. More than ready for a change now. Same with the defence but they're not quite as sellable of an asset as Whiteman and McCann. But hopefully we do sign one CB at least as it's needed.

I doubt McCann will be sold, I just want to have midfielders that are at least somewhat decent with the ball, and not slow either.
