Tickets Everton (Home) in league cup, 2nd round (Twentys Plenty)

Through the FSA Championship network, I now have at least half of the championship fans groups/trusts members on board as we look to address the increased cost of following our clubs away.

An away price cap for me is the only way forward and PNE are in support of this.

It is worth noting that we could have charged normal match day prices and made up the difference from a probable lower home support by a guaranteed 100k from Everton.

Football is too expensive but it is my view that what a club charges its home fans is between them and their fanbase but away fans in the championship should not be paying more than an away fan in the Premier League.
Fully agree. Surely it is something all fans and fans groups can get behind and put pressure on clubs for a cap.

The game has changed massively,no longer the game of the working class, has not been for a long while.
The game throughout the divisions is now more and more aimed at the corporate supporters, money talks.🥴
I have Leeds United season ticket holder friend. He says everyone is expecting the ground expansion will reduce the waiting list for season tickets but the owners know full well that tourist fans will buy a full price ticket, a scarf, programme and any amount of shit from the club shop.
PL clubs don’t even want Season Ticket holders anymore….

Yep, then you hear the managers complaining that there's no atmosphere. You can't have everything.

On sale from tomorrow? 13th August?
That would explain it. Might help if I read the website really
Tickets for Preston North End's Carabao Cup Round Two tie against Everton will go on sale at 9am on Thursday 13th August to all supporters registered before the cup draw on Monday 10th August 2026.

PNE will face the Toffees on Wednesday, 26th August with the match kicking off at 8pm.

Tickets can be bought in person at the ticket office, over the phone on 0344 856 1966 or online.

All qualifying supporters will be eligible to purchase up to two tickets per account.
Question is will they remember that I used to be registered when they first introduced numbers in the 90s?

Not enough to tempt you, what would out of interest?

Good question. Not sure TBH.

I couldn't tell you the last time I went to a League Cup game in it's various guises as they hold no interest for me really so it's not just this game, it's the competition in general that doesn't do it for me.

Moyes coming back is the only pull & I'm not paying £20 just to see him.

Maybe if it was a tenner for ST holders I'd go but obviously that's not gonna happen when it will probably sell out at £20 & nor did I expect it to.

I don't think it will sell out - it's so, so rare for us to completely sell out. Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool (I think) have all been to Deepdale without it selling out. It'll be a good effort I'm sure, but I reckon 5.6k Everton sell out, plus about 15k home fans.
