Tbf the predictions I haven’t got a problem with it’s always the reasoning behind them which are just so wrong in my opinion.

I listened to this podcast for about 3 seasons before realizing that they had less idea than me and go off the odd highlights reel.

Not quite true. I’ve seen several various league table predictions. They’ve had us anywhere between 14th and bottom.

Fair enough. Or course not seen every prediction but I think I've only seen one outside the bottom 3 so far.

Championship chat and NTT20 are usually quite reasonable with what they have to say about us. Second tier i think have just gone down the clickbait way of engagement and pie themselves off towards the bigger fanbases in the league

Yes NTT20 is my favorite but I think they take on a bit too much trying to cover all the EFL. As a result they are more aware of the clubs with a bigger media presence and we must be among the smallest of those in the Championship

For goodness knows how long, we are now operating as a club with some ambition, yes Hecky should be given an opportunity. He and McCall must have equally been frustrated with how we have been in survival mode/making up the numbers in the past.

But rest assured they will now have to perform.

I wouldn’t go that far.


The additions of Leroy and Clarke aren’t suddenly going to turn us into play off contenders.

Accepted more additions will come in and the quality of them may change things but as we stand I still have our squad as a bottom 8 side and we’d be over achieving with mid table.

I think we also need to remember that the signings and sums for Leroy and Clarke are fairly bog standard fees in this league

One of them has us 24th! Cant remember which one, but generally it feels like these shit pods just predict what they WANT to happen not what they actually think (they don’t think at all).

Seen another one with us, Bolton and Rovers all relegated too. Needless to say the pod was two southern twats.
