Long term, this season might be pivotal and bring about the root change we need. It's painful having to live through it at the moment - so we will have to find some trench humour to get us through.

Personally I'm frustrated as I was proved right in my assumption that the takeover talk was an exaggerated ploy to secure season ticket sales early. Nothing since then, has proved me wrong.

I look forward to a year or two from now, in League One and looking upwards for a change. That's the hope.

Don't get too disheartened. Only one relegation since 1993, we are due one at some point.
