You're starting to sound like Voldemort.“Stronger squad than last season!” cried the NPCs, happy to see the back of club captain Ben Whiteman and ‘tactically inept’ Heckingbottom.
Matchday Thread Birmingham City v PNE | 13.10.26 | KO:8PM | Championship
It’s not Alexander’s fault he has inherited a defence that should have been strengthened a couple of seasons ago. Also has an injury prone strike force due to our obsession with recruiting players with dodgy fitness records.Well based on some of the fans thoughts after two games I wouldn’t blame him
In the list of people to lay the blame at Alexander is way down at this stage.
It is possible that managers with championship experience would not touch us with a barge pole. This job would challenge even the most seasoned of managers.

Man Uniteds Lisandro Martinez has just called out the ownership on live tv in an interview, saying he wanted more investment from the owners in the summer and that the problems are higher than the manager, also saying the team isn’t good enough. Wish one of our lot would do that haha
Can we have an updated statement from Penrose about the takeover and how far we are off it and reassurance that we will do everything in our power to support GA to stay in the league by spending big in the January transfer window

Who would you have employed? That actually wanted the job or was realistic... 2 games in and the knives being sharpened. I wanted Alex Neil back, why would he leave Millwall for this shitshow. Probably the best appointment we could have made given the state the club is being run in currentlyHe's not good enough.....
Shocking appointment
To solve a lot of the issues in football the likes of united et al need a lot less investing - that’s what’s killing the game in the lower leaguesMan Uniteds Lisandro Martinez has just called out the ownership on live tv in an interview, saying he wanted more investment from the owners in the summer and that the problems are higher than the manager, also saying the team isn’t good enough. Me to. the clubs rotten to the coreDidn’t watch one single minute of it. I just can’t do it. really really gutted I feel this way but I can’t see myself being motivated to watch us anytime soon
I and a few others clapped them, but mainly only us on the coaches still there, most in cars had started leaving earlier, one or two giving players the V's...Anyone know what kind of reaction the players got from the travelling fans?

I read an interesting thread of tweets today about West Ham's Championship record signing Arne Engels. There's been some criticism of him just being sideways passes and set pieces whilst a few Celtic fans responded and said they thought the same, but the difference in when he plays and doesn't was stark.
I was far from team Whiteman, and I still think he was completely replaceable, but the lack of someone in this midfield to place their foot on the ball and set the tempo is quite clear to be seen. Thompson frantically turns to his favoured left and spreads it as far away from him as possible, Devine clearly wants to be the progressive outlet and Ben's supposed replacement Leo Leroy seems to be more of a progressive player himself rather than a deep-lying anchor.

Why’d you clap pal haha, I’d have lost my headI and a few others clapped them, but mainly only us on the coaches still there, most in cars had started leaving earlier, one or two giving players the V's...
Unless they play for PNE!!!"There's no such thing as a bad professional football player"
We may have struggled to find anybody experienced. He's not good enough.....
Shocking appointment
On the subject of shocking it is not Alexander who assembled this awful lacklustre set of players.
I and a few others clapped them,
This isn't a pop Alan as I am genuinely interested as to why?
Think the best thing to happen to us will be to get relegated and get Alexander to build a team capable of competing and hopefully do an Ipswich.
Birmingham were relegated to league 1 and got promoted and are now competing for top 6.
Reading, Blackpool, Bradford, Huddersfield, Luton, Barnsley etc.would disagree.

Won’t matter as we’ll be too far gone by January. Can we have an updated statement from Penrose about the takeover and how far we are off it and reassurance that we will do everything in our power to support GA to stay in the league by spending big in the January transfer window

A large chunk of our current problems were entirely predictable and stem from that shambolic Jan ‘25 decision to re-contract all three of Storey, Lindsay and Hughes.Storey is an increasing liability. Simply not good enough - game after game -
“Where would we be without them?” Probably a much happier place than we are now.
None off our shower shit would as they know they are only here as put recruitment is poor and if it was reasonably good most would have been shipped out long ago and doing the rounds in league 1Man Uniteds Lisandro Martinez has just called out the ownership on live tv in an interview, saying he wanted more investment from the owners in the summer and that the problems are higher than the manager, also saying the team isn’t good enough.
