Just to clarify (not takeover news) more of the fact that I get we're irrelevant to the national media but when
Robbie Savage was appointed at Peterborough he wrote a massive essay about it but 4 days earlier nothing regarding Graham Alexander's appointment.
Today he's wrote a massive essay about Burnley & how their fans "deserve better" yet 16 years of nothingness at Deepdale & we're just expected to put up & shut up & probably be grateful.
Maybe im just that way out coz morrisons was packed & they had no baskets & had to carry my shoppin in my hands & then half the self service tills was out of service.
Then read his tweet when I got home waiting for the kettle to boil.
With the fee for Hugill TH could have consulted with Alex Neil and his staff about bringing in a couple of young prospects who we could later sell on for a profit after strengthening our team. Instead we ended up with zJayden Stockley who definitely didn’t strengthen the team despite his best efforts.
Later signing a pastbit Nugent on a 2 year contract ( a TH initiative I believe) reinforced the lack of vision for the future.
I have no embarrassment in not even needing a wallet in the circles I move inIt’s a really bad time to be a North End fan and a Lancs fan…. 😩
I’m embarrassed to open my wallet in public because the first things you see are my North End ST
and my Lancs CC members card 😂😂
Ifr is acomplete waste of time to keep Efl club s quiet while the PremiershiT steal all the money and mank city fiddle and the fa do sod all because there part of the Problem.Nothing can be signed until the IFR gives approval to all of the individuals involved in the takeover. So it's possible that the applications could be with the IFR, and that negotiations could be going on about provisions for changes to the sale price if we get relegated at the end of the season (eg £5m upfront, then a further £20m if we stay up at the end of the season).

Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford all on there arses....look at them now, look at the attacking football they play, we can only dream off enjoying that, a pure joy to watch....football business models hey, actually having long term vision and planning, signing quality young players with sell on value not our 'model' of signing has beens and worst of all injury prone players....yep the Preston/Ridsdale way....stuck in a time warp...the end cant come soon enough!
IFR wont get involved until everything is agreed between both parties.Nothing can be signed until the IFR gives approval to all of the individuals involved in the takeover. I think the biggest difference is that those three clubs were bought by owners who actually wanted to own a football club.Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford all on there arses....look at them now, look at the attacking football they play, we can only dream off enjoying that, a pure joy to watch....football business models hey, actually having long term vision and planning, signing quality young players with sell on value not our 'model' of signing has beens and worst of all injury prone players....yep the Preston/Ridsdale way....stuck in a time warp...the end cant come soon enough!
So no movement until after the January transfer window at least.IFR wont get involved until everything is agreed between both parties.
The club for a few years had a philosophy off the pitch. The issue was Trevor Hemmings and Peter Ridsdale ruined it. We sold a player for 9 million, and didn't replace him. How much at one stage were Davies, Barkhuizen, Johnson, Pearson and Browne worth, and what income did we get from them? With the fee for Hugill TH could have consulted with Alex Neil and his staff about bringing in a couple of young prospects who we could later sell on for a profit after strengthening our team. Preston North End was, in my opinion, just a toy/hobby for Trevorneezer Scrooge. He thought he could run the club far better than what Deadly Derek was doing. He was never going to do a D. Whelan or J. Walker. He soon realised it wasn’t quite as easy as he thought. The club for a few years had a philosophy off the pitch. The issue was Trevor Hemmings and Peter Ridsdale ruined it. Common issue = Peter Ridsdale.

There is no haggling over the price, Penrose said in August an acceptable offer had been accepted, presumably the delays are all the efl checks. So, as they are still haggling over the price, as we are now dead cert's for League One, according to some, after at least nine months of haggling we still have to endure three to five months of the IFR yet?
Think you need to read that statement again. He said an offer had been made that was acceptable to the Hemmings. He didn’t say it had been formally accepted yet. Based on things happening at other clubs, it probably hasn’t even gone to the Regulator yetThere is no haggling over the price, Penrose said in August an acceptable offer had been accepted, presumably the delays are all the efl checks.
