what is wrong with this guy?
i think we all know he can play well but today he was at least 5yards off the pace, wether you like mckenna or not the gulf between them today was massive.
i would like to see the stats because mckenna must of won 20 x the tackles and headers chaplow won and if you beleive many on this site then mckenna is no better than league one at best so where does that put chaplow?
anyway fantastic result although very hard fought and not pretty at times against one of the best Ipswich teams i have seen for a number of years.

UP THE WHITES 🙂

ps. hat off to whaley he looked better than he has for a long time although still a good way short of what he can be

Does the work in chasing down that creates the space for McKenna. Ipswich looked strong going forward and it needed that effort to halt the tide. With him in the centre we don't get overrun so easily.

thought he was the weak link today, passes going astray and posession lost but at least he did work hard, whaley did a job but he was a shadow of his former self he looks totally lacking in confidence and had a shit haircut!

Wash you mouth out for that. You know nothing if you suggest that McKenna is a League One player - he's carried the midfield since Brian O Neill retired in a team that is currently fourth in the League.

Im actually think mckenna is one of the best midfielders in this league, its just a shame a doom merchants on here need someone to have a go at and most of the time it is mckenna simply because they cannot understand why the need to pass side ways and backwards--obviously its to create space and settle for the next forward wave, some people just dont get it

Cant believe some of the crap posted on here. What some of the morons dont realise is the amount of running that Chaplow does in not only closing down the opposition but also supporting the team when going forward.Thought his work rate today was phenomenal and he seems to have fully recovered from this virus that has had him playing below par recently.Chaplow can play a major part for us in these remaining games in our quest for promotion !

how many tackles, headers or successfull passes did he make in the entire game? not many id guess!
Its no good just doing the running, if it was micheal kean would still be here😕

Linford Christie was a very good runner. He was shit at football as well.

You haven't got a clue ,you'd probably have Nicholson in the centre of mid with Mckenna !

Not as bad as he has been in previous games but he has played much better for us. I suppose he couldn't have done much worse than the 'performances' Nicholson has been putting in of late.

Despite having an average game today he touched the ball more times today than Nicholson has done in all his games in central midfield.

Exactly, he might have the lost the ball but he wanted ut unlike Nicholson who must make about 3 passes a match. Would you rather have a CM who makes 50 passes a game that are 60% accuarate or a CM who makes 10 passes game that are 100% accuarate?

Chaplow: I saw a player today who is out of form but battling his heart out to get that form back. He ran his socks off.
