Mckenna after Brig game

Mckenna after Brig game

Mckenna would be mad to turn down the chance to double his wages, just fortunate for us he's happy to wait and let North End get a good price than kick up a fuss and have us sell him for less.

Cheers Macca.

So you are saying that we should be greatful that Mckenna is waiting for North End to get the highest fee possible?

Have a reality check!

The reason he has not put in a transfer request is because he would lose quite a large amount of money on his contract, and personally I don't blame him for that.

Forget it John, you're dealing with morons.

They think he's only holding out to get the best deal possible for his beloved club, then he will leave in floods of tears, not able to even look back at his beloved Deepdale. 😱

To be fair he said it is "fortunate" for us not that we should be "grateful" to him...it's best for both parties that he doesnt hand a transfer request .. was his only point I think.

You asked for someone to translate, that's all I did, not saying I hold them beliefs.... I know he wants to go, but I can't make my mind up if I want him to go or not.

Correct. 🙂

McKenna could quite easily turn this into a Carlo Nash situation and force the clubs hand, which would be the last thing we need from the club captain with a few weeks until the season starts.

And if he doesn't get what he wants, rest assured he fucking will.

How the fuck a tosser like you will survive in the real world I don't know.

there's a lot of personal shite on this thread but the practicalities are how will we replace the quality mckenna has, for the money that will be available ? I will be very pissed off if we sell our captain to one of our rivals.

He wasn't holding out; the club was.

The fact that he hasn't shown dissatisfaction gives us greater bargaining power.
