When's the last time we won 3-0 in the league? Seems like ages ago.
Rode our luck again at times tonight, but a 3-0 win should help to build confidence.
Tough ask on Saturday, but can look forward to it now with a bit of hope.

Felt like a mid 2000s 3-0 regulation home win under BD that. Used to be the likes of Watford by that score in those times fairly regularly.

It was a must win and was won and won well.

Just a shame that Milly has got his league season underway and he's not going to be available for much longer as I do think he'll eventually be a solid 12-15 goal scorer at this level.

Coventry away in Feb last season

Best performance in any of last season's games, imo. It's first half was outstanding.

Thought it was a much improved performance but I can't honestly take it as a three nil, (which would be bordering on a thrashing) as they should have had at least two. Bad misses, particularly the second one for which the lad will be having nightmares. Dare I say I don't think we need to worry too much about going down 🤔

I think comments like this are pretty pointless at this point. If you’d asked anyone who watched us on Saturday you’d have been told we were gonna finish bottom of the league by 20 points. Ask after a 3-0 win and it’s gonna be a very different answer.

In reality, I don’t think anyone has any idea what will happen. We could build on that performance or it could just as easily be a flash in the pan and Saturday was the real Preston.

If you beat someone three nil and they don't have a chance, then you've really played well. The score, however satisfying, did not reflect the game, unless you want to pretend that they shouldn't have scored.
