A 3-0 win is a 3-0 win. No one at the end of the season is going to go ‘do you remember that game were we won 3-0 and should been two down.’
No they will remember it as a 3-0 win.

That's your opinion. I'll remember it as a good performance but it could have been different

Maybe I read it wrong, I interpreted you saying this "If you beat someone three nil and they don't have a chance, then you've really played well."
As meaning because they did have chances then we didn't really play well.
Rather than really played well, did you mean played really well in the bit I've quoted?

That game was definitely his highlight in a PNE shirt, i completely forgot Reeves came as our record signing too, another one who didnt have the best of times at the club.
Im sure we beat the lashers 3-0 again a couple of years later with Eyres getting a couple
