How the fuck were there 98 mins extra. fucking robbed yet again, week in week out we play way over what everyone else plays. 98 mins is fucking ridiculous.

We must have been wasting time like we always do.....

I remember we played Coventry at Deepdale about 5 years ago when some fans wasted time by keeping hold of the ball in the Finney...

The ref added about 9 minutes on and Cov equalised in the 98th minute...

we get what we deserve sometimes

Robbed how?

If it goes over every week, maybe we are the reason?

No problem with it, it’s backfired today, but we waste time every match.

The added time was about right IMO.

Can't remember such a stop-start game. It was absolutely rancid.

We had built up a bit of a reputation as being a rough, tough, physical team.....but today we looked like a bunch of pansies. It was embarrassing at times, and for the first time ever, I found myself shouting at the TV at our own players to get up off the floor.

From what I understand, the extra 8 mins was mainly caused by PNEs own antics.
One thing I notice with extra time, though, is why is first half extra time never as long as second half extra time? Is it always just down to later-in-the-match substitutions? I'm sure I read there are always 30 seconds added for a substitution but given that there always seems to be six subs brought on, how come in some matches the ref might only add two minutes stoppage time? I'm confused.

The 30 seconds per sub is a guideline, so it's certainly not Number of Subs X 30 seconds but yes if there are more subs in the 2nd half you'd expect there to be more added time. Maybe less so these days if the ref does make the players leave at the closest point to the sideline.

Wasn't there a head injury for a Reading player as well? But it does seem to be that we are often one of the last handful of games to finish. Probably not helped by often kicking off after 3pm especially at home.
