Hi,

just joined up to say a big thanks to the PNE players and fans for showing respect to Matthew's (PNE Physio) father (Dave) who passed away from Alzheimer's on Friday night by wearing black armbands and dedicating the win. It was much appreciated by all of the family. Matthew continued his job on Saturday through a difficult time.

My wife is Dave's niece.

A good game and good result against MK Dons for you guys. Good luck for the rest of the season and all the best over the Christmas season.

I'm sure all our thoughts are with Matt and the rest of the family at this sad time and it was great to see the players show such respect to his father on what must of been a difficult night for him.

This is sad news. Matt was the yr below me at school and is a good lad (and a bloody good player he was too). Thoughts to him and his family.
 
Jacko is one of my mates and I can only say how professional he was yesterday despite his awful news. A great gesture by Unsworth and Alexander regards armbands. Parrys celebration and Coutts' mention on Sky also worthy of praise!
 
Sincere condolences to Matt and his family. The occasion brought out real passion in the players in the opening first quarter of the game.
