I am not surprised that we find ourselves in this position. The club is a shambles from top to bottom.

We have an owner who wants rid but things seem to be dragging on in the background and needs sorting as soon as possible.

We have a CEO who runs the club like it’s the 1990s we are so out of the modern game of football. The way we operate is a joke handing out contracts to players who should be long gone and letting contracts run out with sell on value. Ringing round clubs in the last hour looking for a midfielder to come in on deadline day then announcing it during the game on the “big screen”

Our academy is run like a Sunday league set up and that’s me being harsh on Sunday League level.

Our recruitment and scouting team are poor. I mean some of the crap we have signed in the last few years have been terrible. There’s no recruitment plan it seems it’s let’s just sign anyone who we can afford and who wants to come. I mean why sign Mills and then get a manager who plays with wingbacks is a prime example.

I mean we went about 3 years without any proper wingbacks and just making do with Potts, Browne and Brady but carried on playing it anyway. Recruit to the system you want to play.

Coaches from the academy up to the first team are dire and it’s no wonder we don’t have any promising youngsters coming through and it’s no wonder non of our players in the last five years have improved. They have all gone backwards. We can spend as much money as we want in transfer windows but if we have rubbish coaches who can’t improve them then what’s the point in bringing players in but what decent coach wants to come to Preston? The wage is probably well below the standards of anyone decent.

We have been relying on decent loans to see us through seasons. Dobbin, Armstrong, Millar, Alvaro, Archer, Cannon and many more. Sticking plasters over cracks and hoping they hold and I’m afraid we have now run out.

When the inevitable happens are we are relegated then there has to be a big clear out from all the coaches in the first team down to the academy.

I would even scrap the academy all together. The majority of decent young talent in Preston other local areas end up at the bigger and better local academies.

Would be better to just focus an an U18s & U21s team and sign young lads released from Premier League clubs or clubs abroad, develop them and get them mixed into the first team or sell them.

The only way we move forward as a club is if we rip it up and start again.

Shoot me down if you wish,would it be a good idea to bring in Big Sam to work with GA and CL even in an advisory role,it’s pretty obvious something need to be done and quick,we can,t just wait until the January window,we have spent x amount and we just cannot compete at the mo

Why would you undermine the staff you've just hired within a month of appointing them?

Bad decision after bad decision and treading water only 'lasts' for so long before you grow tired and sink. Yet we've had fans completely blinded and just lap up any old shit and refuse to question the decision making at the club.

I agree with every word by the way and there isn't much more I can add. What I will say is that this club is rancid and rotten from top to bottom. Previously, I would've never have accepted relegation but if it means we get shut of these shysters (root and branch clearout), then so be it.

I agree with your sentiments but I think our poor start to the season and our impending relegation has killed the takeover….

We may well be stuck with IoM for a long time…

Seen off a takeover with horseshit recruitment over the Summer to give himself another few years on Revitt's teat.
