I believe the squad are flying out to La Manga on Tuesday for four days training in the sun.

Well deserved

Pathetic! All this and some squad players driving around in porsches and getting luxury coach travel to away games! this lot aren't fit to represent a proud club such as ours!

After that display at Watford , I would cancel it and sod any of them who kicked off , thats just taking the piss

Mortis

They should send some of them to boot camp to toughen up ie: Carter , Chaplow, Parkin, Elliot, mellor..........

Coming to think of it , most of them !!

Has this been confirmed or is it just a rumour?

Surely it would be better to keep the players at Springfields but say to them if they reach a points target by the time the February international break comes along then they can go abroad for warm weather training.

That way the players have got something to aim at.

If it's anything like the one in 2007 under Simpson then we're fucked. The players will be sneaking out to casinos after hours and coming back at 5am, not wanting to put the lights on and get caught so they walk into a coffee table like Simon Whaley did when he broke his toe, the prick.

in fairness I don't thinks it's a holiday. I would have thought the training will be more intense and they will have longer sessions in the heat. It is the professional thing to do. Also - it appears we have no money to buy quality or quantity so the only way we will acheive anything is through intense coaching and organising and maximising fitness.

You can train the players all you want..they`re still shit.

I work in Clitheroe so lay off the place but i have to agree that rather than considering jetting off Mr Irvine should try and sort out what has to be the weakest central midfield in this division.

Take them up to the Highlands, that'll toughen them up.

You're a Scotsman Alan, you're meant to be made of sterner stuff than this. Yesterday was a complete embarassment as we just keeled over and gave into a very average Watford side.
