Advertising/bot threads

Managed to clear a ridiculous amount of bots! Admin are looking at a solution but in the meantime, please keep reporting and we'll get shut of them as soon as we can.
 
We have a CasinoBot online tonight. Don`t bother replying to the posts...🙂

Take a look over your left shoulder in front of a mirror. Then imagine the opposite of your wrinkly old arse, then you can picture my hot bot.......smooth, pert and peachy.

Surely you can make registering a bit harder? Or do they get around that too.

I'm dreaming of retirement...no Bots, no PC's, no internet, no iThings. Just a chilled out view, beer and enjoying my music collection and stereo. Just got to afford the house.

PS. Maybe a basic internet connection to keep up with PNE...but at times I think PNE are being taken over bots?
 
I've noticed a lot on "new members" lately who's usernames are much like the current one tonight..gralgagenueds.. are these mostly dodgy bot/spam/scam/advertising usernames? just a mishmash of letters or numbers?

Yes..including the one you mention. That particular new member has already been banned, before posting. On the profile is an ICQ number...this one..

I googled that number....and found it came up on many other forums, with a range of names all a bit mixed up. Clearly the same bot/spammer. The account was banned by Admin as soon as I reported it.

EDIT...btw, Admin have made some changes to the registration procedure...dunno if its `secret` so won`t say what...but the attacks do seem to have eased off.

Sussed it, I doubt the bots will.
 
NikeBot online tonight..`Beatslover` is the username.

Registered a week ago, posted just the one,then logged off.

Sneaky buggers are getting craftier.

EDIT..lol...logged back on again and posted another!

It`s worse than I thought, Jim! Logging in and out before and after each post.
