I think Lowe's also learning about that top-premier club idea that's not really transferrable to other clubs: - that idea of having a pair of fast, skillful wingbacks at Deepdale.

Hughes and Potts I'd be very confident about 100%.

Browne I'd be about 90% confident. Money v PNE Appearance Record.

Whiteman I'd be 75% confident about. Depends if he is prepared, as we have a decent squad now in terms of rotation (freshness), to accept being on the bench for some games.

Hughes’ isn’t according to Ridsdale, same with Bauer. Not sure what’s gone on there but I was listening to FTF before and Jake was naming the players OOC next summer and Ridsdale said both Bauer and Hughes aren’t OOC.

The press releases say at least 2024, so I'm guessing that means we have options on them? Or it can be triggered by appearances.

Dropped a bollock with Bauer, he'll be a good earner here.

I think we wisely decided to let DJ go- replacing him with Duane Holmes on half the money.

Whiteman has got to prove he’s worth a big money contract for me. We’ve done superbly so far this year without him and it will be interesting to see if we can continue to be as effective on the break when he comes back in.

I suspect he’ll go at Christmas or run his contract down and if he had been fit, we would have listened to offers of £2.5 million for him this summer. The inability to sell might be something that the club regrets in time, but whilst he’s here - he’s a great option to have in our midfield.
