Alan Browne

[Double J]

Made a thread a couple of year ago calling him the worst captain ever after Huddersfield away.

I now make another thread, standing by that statement at the time. However, his injury last season coincided with a dip in form.

His performance tonight was sensational. Carrying those around him at times.

MOTM by a mile.

Give him a contract.

[WhiteWomble]

He is now back in his best position.

For a while he has been doing jobs around the team, now he is enjoying his football again.

[JK]

Been excellent since we started to play him in his best position.

Putting in captain performances week in week out and leading be example.

[BPIG]

Thought he was one of 9 that were pretty poor in the first half but second half he was outstanding.

Think Holmes deserved man of the match for playing well for the full 90.

[Randall Flagg]

Holmes had a decent first half but Browne was easily MOTM.

[Aqueous]

Sign him up.

Second half of first half we were decent imo

Holmes worked his knackers off but browne was motm imo, we were well under the cosh for a long period in second half, we couldn't get a grip then Browne does that

[keasden]

Proper captain’s performance from Brown tonight, motm by a mile. That run for our 2nd was outstanding.

[baldnobber]

Been one of Lowe's biggest critics...but his reasoning for taking Browne off on Saturday followed by his performance tonight seems like a masterstroke.
Everything is going for RL atm.

[norky84]

He was brilliant 2nd half.

[Hitman31]

Fantastic second half from him. Like he was a totally different player to the first.

[NG White]

I said to my Dad on the way back to the car that was a proper captains performance. It was a difficult night, we never really got going against a tough Birmingham side, but that moment for the second goal were he just drove us forward followed by a great ball into Osmajic was real leadership.

[OB1]

Blank cheque

[WhiteRanger]

Superb Mr. PNE

[OOOO3]

His signing this week would be a great step by the club. Very good for the winning goal

[shabbagaz]

Immense. Proper fucking grafter.

[jakehake]

Round pegs, round holes

[Mickypne]

Whilst I wasn't happy with it , DJ leaving has been good for Browne and PNE tbh, didn't think I'd say that

[Henry Weston]

Round pegs, round holes

Filth!

[Pne30]

Browne loves the club. We are Lucky to have a player that’s so devoted to us. Every manager that’s been here has had him in the starting 11 when fit apart from maybe the occasional patch. I think that in itself tells you what you need to know.
