Alex Marrow Signs on Loan (Confirmed)

Alex Marrow Signs on Loan (Confirmed)

If this is true then the player most likely to become surplus to requirements is Nicholson. I could imagine that one or two Scottish clubs might fancy him. With Mayor and Bunn in the frame then Daley also stars to look a bit superfluous as well though I really would like to see how he fared if fired up by GW.

Or Ashbee.

So we'll have:

Procter
Marrow
Coutts
Barton
Nicholson
Alexander
Ashbee

For 2/3 spots. Ashbee to be paid up?

Got to get rid of Ashbee what a waste of money and more of the issue space! I like Alexander but unfortunately he's not needed in the first team squad, and he doesn't seem to be needed coaching wise now unfortunately.

And the other to go for me would be Baz Nich, who as I like his work effort etc He just seems to be non-existent.

Or Ashbee.

That more or less goes without saying. A pity in a way - he is nowhere near as bad a player as is sometimes made out. In the Carling Cup game at Charlton he was outstanding, abeit with the 'legs' of Russell and Barton to do the running for him. Even now he would look a class act - if fit - at Div 2 level. Alexander also now seems right out of the picture.

Coutts played on the wing the other day. I'd expect this signing to be competing with Barton, Procter and Nicholson to play in centre midfield.

Evening.

You've got a very good player in Marrow IMO.

Freedman spotted him in a Blackburn reserve game a couple of seasons back, we loaned him from them, and he quickly became an integral player in a team that was very weak and powderpuff, so we signed him for something ridiculous like £50k in January 2011. Then he got injured, and now he's moved out to get back to full fitness.

He's a strong, combative player who will work hard, break up play, full-blooded challenges, but definitely not lacking skill (he won a contract at Blackburn for winning a keepy-uppy competition!)

Really hope he does well for you. Good luck 🙂

Sounds like just what we needed, but didn't we bring in this Andy Procter for something similar?

Cheers for that Greg.

Sounds a bit like Nathan Doyle who we had on loan last month.
