There's no point sacking GA until the takeover either happens or it's confirmed to be dead in the water. For what it's worth, at this stage this is the situation:
You've either accepted we're down or you think we can stay up.
If you've accept we're getting relegated, you have the following options:
1) Commit to Alexander in League One, letting him build something in his image
2) You sack Alexander towards the end of the season accepting he's basically an interim, giving you enough time to recruit thoroughly at the end of the season or until a "better" option appears.
3) You sack him and Lucketti now, leaving a coaching staff of just Jason Euell and Mike Pollitt, not sure to what end.
If you still think we can stay up, you have the following options:
1) Keep Grezza and hope he can turn it around
2) Roll the dice again, with an even worse shortlist than before
3) Sack Alexander and hope Jason Euell can turn it around with a very minimal coaching staff

I’d have more confidence in Ryan Taylor than Jason Euell.

There's every point in sacking Alexander, purely because he shouldn't have been appointed in the first place. The usual fellas arguing otherwise - enjoy 👍

Oh OK.
So the same points as Graham Alexander, but in five games fewer.... 👍
Ridiculous statement, who do you think will appointment the next manager?
The problem starts at the top.
Not my choice either but absolutely no point in sacking him.

Apart from the draw I don’t see any green shoots whatsoever in the matches since GA was appointed.
I’m definitely not in favour of sacking him but unfortunately I can’t see where our next point is coming from and therefore we will continue to break records at the wrong end of the league.
At some point GAs position will inevitably become untenable and we will have the same dinosaurs appointing the next victim.

I wasn't keen on Alexander coming and said as much in the manager options thread.
I knew he was limited in style, but a blind man without his dog could have seen how this was going to develop.
Alexander is a fitness freak, this bunch of wasters are lazy fuckers. He was always going to start on fitness and they were always going to sulk.
Then there was the inevitable pile on because he cannot get a tune out of this squad that is also missing key players and 2 unproven strikers at this level. Repeat 2 unproven strikers!!! and now 1 of them is out.
Alexander is not blameless, but this is not a situation of his makings. Those above are responsible for the situation and the can has to be on the DOF and whoever said Erabi and Burgzorg should be signed.
Ridsdale Out!

Grezza has looked 45 since birth.
However, I think he’s already aged about a decade in the 6 weeks he’s been here.
By the time we’re done with him he’s going to look like something dug up from within one of Great Pyramids.

They didn't give a fuck about it when they sacked heckingbottomWho are we going to replace him with? No one wants the job.
To be fair even if the budget was there who would want to come here. We are in a complete mess, poor footballers and even poorer management to get us to this point. Unfortunately the poor management is the constant. As far as Graham is concerned he may be struggling but, I still have more faith in him than others because he will put his heart and soul into trying to make it right. I feel so sorry for him and Chris they never let us down but my word they have been let down.Hi there
Based on our budget (and that’s the real issue here) who else would we choose - that sounds terribly disingenuous to Graham I know but the reality is to gain a manager with such a wide and vast experience to get us out of this hole quickly is beyond our finances I fear
We need some constants right now, and he should be one of them

So who/what kind of manager do we need that's available and would want the gig?Spot on post, he's not the manager we need imo.
Post Moyes and with the exception of Billy, who have we had that's come close to doing anything meaningful in the Championship?
Managers come, managers go but there is one constant and that's the owners, and until they go, nothing will change irrespective of who's in the dugout.
Nice interview but the journalist doesn’t ask him the right questions. Yes we know it’s a long process and he claims he doesn’t look at the table which in itself is arrogance!
What we want to know is when is the next win coming from?
Have you got the right players in the squad to avoid relegation or are you looking to get some decent defensive and attacking options January?
Why are we conceding so many goals as your teams are quite tight at the back?
As things stand, is the squad good enough to escape relegation?
All we hear is hard work and little steps improving the players and mindset. That alone is not good enough if the quality is substandard!

The writing is on the wall for our manager. You can tell that on here....he's gone from being referred to by the affectionate, pally, 'Grezza' to the much sterner 'Alexander' in much the same way 'Pep' became 'Guardiola' once the city players he lent us went back
